  1. G'day all, Just bumping this threa dhoping you're bumping into this pair of awesome seats. Cheers Grant
  2. KezR33 My words of wisdom. If you can afford the repayments, you're smart with money, can afford the maintaince and have solid job security, go for it. It can build a solid credit rating should you pay the repayments everytime. Also like someone said, better save up a bit more for emergency repairs or expense (excess, rego and damage that replacing said damage is lower than the insurance excess). If you're familiar to the maintance of Skyline, you should have some idea of maintaing Silvia or Supra. If i were you, I'd wait until you're off your P's and choice of cars will open up a lot (could pick 34 GT-T for same money as S15 nowdays), just a thought also perfect excuse to save up more cash for mods. All the best with the decision. Cheers
  3. Yes they did import 100 R33 then 100 R34 GT-R, The owner of Middlehurst Nissan (the offical Importer for GT-R's) does love his GT-R's, he drives and tracking a modified 32 GTR I believe. Also I forgot to say, you will need to get a 'MPH converter' - it's essential so that the speed sensor doesn't get confused and stuff the HICAS system.
  4. You might can buy the cluster in miles in UK - Middlehurst Nissan Imported 100-odd 33 GT-Rs back in '98 or '99. Try ask www.gtroc.co.uk they might be able to point you in right direction. Cheers
  5. My 32 is still for sale, however if 33 tickles your fancy, I might have it for sale also. Feel free to PM me for details/question, I'll happy to answer them. Cheers Grant
  6. G'day all, As topic states I've got pair of R33 Series 3 Seats for sale. Won't separate them at all and looking for Melbourne buyers only (not worth the hassle of posting them). Drivers side. Passenger side. As you can see on pictures, they're in good condition. I'm asking $1,300 however, I can be negotiated providing you have cash on hand at time (if you feel like to make an offer, free to do via PM). I'm located at Frankston South (1 hour out of Melbourne for these who don't know). Cheers Grant
  7. G'day all, R34 SMIC is SOLD and POSTED. Feel free to make an reasonable offer for most of remaining parts. Cheers Grant
  8. Hey, Pretty sure most S1.5 has only drivers airbag, can't remember when I last see S1.5 with dual airbags, You might need S1.5 airbag steering wheel to pass RWC. Hope it helps. *edit* Brett, aka W0rp3D beat me into it.
  9. G'day all, I'm in need of a place that does RWC near Frankston (couple of places has tried to rip me off), happy to drive to Moorabbin or Dandenong. Anyone decent would be nice... Cheers Grant
  10. I really prefer to sell it as whole, sorry man. And thought you didn't want to spend too much when you were selling your 33. Cheers Grant
  11. Hi, It was sold along with dash facia, sorry. Cheers Grant
  12. Just bumping this thread... Like the last post, offers are always welcomed, not be afraid to make one via PM. Cheers Grant
  13. G'day all, Just bumping it up once again... Turbo timer is SOLD and POSTED. Offers welcomed for all the remaining parts. Cheers Grant
  14. Now, it is relisted on ebay now, bid, bid away! Cheers Grant
  15. RTA of NSW doesn't enforce p/w rule before the new laws come in, only Victoria does, now, majority of Australia enforce 'turbo and v8 restrictions'. It'd be illegal for you to drive 33 GTST if under 125kw/ton laws, you're lucky you're in NSW although it hasn't stopped many people in Victoria to 'bend' this rule by driving high powered vehicles before. Cheers
  16. Nope, it's calcuated by offical power and weigh figures from car companies (nissan for this instance). As for SR20 S13/180sx, it's grey area, there was some debate whether it is legal or not on nissansilvia.com forums, heaps of topics has been covered I believe. Cheers
  17. Still got them, feel free to make an offer, worst I can say is 'no' so, don't be afraid!
  18. Have a look through carsales, Turbo tiptronic are priced around $17k plus (there's couple of manuals for 19k). Cheers
  19. It'd be easier for you to get down and dirty with soldering iron, however, it might be best to get mechanic/auto electrician if you're not 'electricial savvy' when I removed mine I got my mate to do it for me and it's sweet. The problem you're describing, it's pretty dangerous - most likely faulty unit or dodgy wiring. I don't see the point in turbo timer, hence the removal of the turbo timer on my 33, just cool down for couple of minutes before turning they key off, easy as. Cheers
  20. If it's under 125kW/tonne, it's legal on P-Platers under old scheme (before 1st July 2007) no matter if it's N/A or Turbo. Cheers
  21. Pretty sure Vicroads has a list on their website, have a look there.
  22. PRICE DROP TO $6500 NEG! Cheers Grant
  23. G'day all, Most part from post #1 is still for sale. So far, Centre Console Dash Facia Rear pods HAS BEEN SOLD. And most parts, the prices are negotiable, just need them gone. Cheers Grant
