  1. G'day all, Got the floor mats, Thanks Nick. Still looking for stock S2 Interior. Cheers Grant
  2. Harry, De-cat is just a pipe while the cataylic converter is a oval-ish shape. If you're not that bad with spanner, you could remove the 'cat' and see what is inside, shouldn't take more than a hour or 2. Should the 'cat' actually a cataylic converter, take some photo and write the letter stating you have one and if you feel strongly about the officer's perscptive (spelling?) see the station manager and have it overturned along with proof. Cheers Grant
  3. G'day all, Interested buyers, where art thou? As usual, offers will be considered, I like cash. Cheers Grant
  4. G'day all, Yes, I do still have them (now inside the car - in process of getting RWC), deciding to get stock Interior so they must go. As usual, I'll look at any reasonable offers. Cheers Grant
  5. Alright, maybe try looking at nissansilvia.com forums, pretty sure these guys do this kind of thing to their cars quite often.
  6. Harry, I don't know anyone who has contest the fine regarding catalyic converter (others might), for this, sorry I can't be more help to you. Might try to contact the mechanic who did roadworthy or previous owner and see how they feel about it (doubt if they care but at your situation, it is never hurt to look at all options). After quick read on VSI26 (Roadworthy requirments) states that all exhaust and emission controls that the said car are equipped are to be there when the inspection is being taken place, I suspect the previous owner chucked the standard exhaust system to pass RWC then swap back (pretty common). You could use this to agure your case if you were to 'lawyered up' (talk to solictor/lawyer/legal aid about this and see what they say), Write a well written letter explaining your situation or call/go there and discuss first before the next step further (this is what I would do). Again, hope it helps. 'R31Nismoid' could help you as he know about EPA and such better than me. Cheers Grant
  7. Hello, Read bold sentences, hope it help with your questions and good luck with all this. These things are never fun to do. Cheers Grant
  8. Hey, to adjust the stiffness, if the coilovers have little adjustment knob or allen key hole, you can adjust it (clockwise - harder, anti-clockwise - softer). Hope it help you. Cheers
  9. You might have to work your guards to achieve this look, most panel beaters can do this. You'll need a chat with couple of panel beater and go from there. Hope it helps. Cheers Grant
  10. Clean or borrow someone's AFM first and see what happens. Cos I'm certain it's the AFM from these problems you've described. If not that, look at coilpacks.

  12. G'day all, Still have them, as for rims and exhaust I prefer Melbourne buyers due to the size of them. I got blitz turbo timer as well still asking $100 (I'm pretty sure it's cheap). Cheers Grant

  15. G'day All, Got the windshields, looking at floor mats this weekend. Now, I'm after a set of standard series 2 Interior - want it in good condition and in Melbourne. Cheerio Grant
  16. Great, I'll go there and ask, thanks for that. If you have double sided tape (should use that when installing weathershields in first place, just gently remove it. Rubber seals on door, you can pull them out. I'd suggest hairdryer to soften them first and pull the windshields before resorting to remove the rubber thing on above the door. If all doesn't make sense, I'll take some photos and try to explain properly. Cheers Grant
  17. I'd go for GQ SWB personally, Having owned RB30ET powered GQ (for pics, look up my earliest topics). Plentiful of parts available, robust, very common base for modifications, and it's real offroader (ticking one boxes already!). Can be bought for under 10 grand easily as long your friend doesn't like black over grey (this particular colour often command higher price over other colours - don't ask why). I suggest he go to dealers and test drive what he want to buy then go from there. Also, look up 4x4 forums and so a research there. My choice for 4x4 forums is www.outerlimits4x4.com Happy hunting. Cheers Grant
  18. G'day all, Yes a thread revival... I've bought a pair for 33 other day, but missing few plastic bits that holds the clips on windshields. So, where do I go to get them from? Thanks in advance. Cheers Grant
