Can Chapman and Chapman tuen S-AFC's?

Okay maybe I didn't explain myself. The initial launch off the line. eg the first second. heh no way do they compare at all. And yes I can still beat the wrx's i've come across in the long run say over say 0-80 although right off the line for the first second or so you can't just compare to dumping the clutch.

Yeah I checked for leaks its all fine, I think its what you said Edge. I took it to Bris Turbo and Tuning and they said that the ebc isn't set up right with the S-AFC (Which is odd seing they installed and tuned both of them) and the boost controller is doing something funny where more fuel has to be pumped in to compensate for the boost loss? I have nfi what this means but hey it sounded right and would explain a few things Does this sound right to you guys? and no excels dont beat me just straight off the line like first 10-20m until boost kicks in, but I'd hate to see the car without a turbo I wish I could get 500k a tank... that'd be pretty nice

I have an auto to and with just stock everything apart from a pod filter and twin dump full 3" exhaust I was getting 167rwkw. I reset the ecu and it gained another 10rwkw, but completely stock before doing anything to the car it was getting 147rwkw. Now I've added a S-AFC and upped the boost to 12psi and it feels alot faster in the top end but now a bloody excel can beat me for the first 20m Launches are a pain Would it be me that launch properly or something to do with the boost/safc? The safc hasn't been tuned yet only the settings out of the manual. And I only get 200k's to a tank.

What kind of settings are you using SeriesIIGTST? I'm lost on how to use it. heh I just dont have much of an idea. When you start getting into Gain and Ratio I get confused. What type of boost are you running on your S2? I run 12psi dunno how I set it but thats what a seperate boost gauge reads.

I'm having a problem with mine. It's just started ticking. I took it to the mechanic he said it was just the solenoid ticking but that its not set optimally and apparently alot of power is being lost and more fuel is being pumped to compensate, due to it not being setup well. What kind of settings should I run on the blitz ebc? I think I have it set at 50 gain and .8 bar it gives 12psi on a analogue meter. Also since this was in my spool time is alot longer a bloody excel can beat me over 30m heh. Even if you have a different setup what kind of settings do other people use for optimum performance?

When you just idle is the ticking still there? Mine is there until I drive slowly for a period of time or turn the car off then on. It shouldn't be anything to worry about should it? Thanks!

Why would it suddenly start doing it though? It was fine before. Then suddenly it just happens all the time. Weird, grrr

I have recently just had this noise happen to me. But it sounds quite bad when you floor it. Its from the Boost Controller I know cause it only happens when you go hard. And when you pop the bonnet straight afterwards and feel the boost controller its shaky just like the noise and thats where its coming from I think. Why would it be fine and then just suddenly start doing it? Its mounted right next to the pod filter so I didn't think it would be this bad. If you turn the car off then on again it goes away but comes back after hard driving.

Well I did use Bris Tuning & Turbo and they were fine installing the EBC and S-AFC but as for configuring them they had no idea. They just copied the default Fuel maps from the manual for the S-AFC. And the EBC they didn't know how to set it so they fiddled with it untill the boost gauge gave 12psi. Who in Brisbane can actually tune a S-AFC on a dyno?

Just wondering what would be the best place to get a dyno tune done? Also not many people can tune a S-AFC well. Who in Bris can do this? Also what's a good dyno to get a test done? Preferably a Dyno Dynamics dyno.

Yeah heh, just went out and bought some gasket paper and cut a new one. Its all good now but what a pain just to get it back to what it was

lol well I ****ed mine completely. I put the screw there, it was fine. then it sounded monged. Got scared and tried tightening more in case it was the air escaping. Then the F*#KING bolt snapped Had to take the whole pipe off to remove it. But I don't have another bolt. At least I might as well polish the pipe now. I also lost the bit that goes in between the bov and the pipe the spacer tightening thing. It fell down into the engine, but it was night time and I cbf looking for it. Is this necessary? Does it matter if I need it?

I have an auto and its fine Specially if your a lazy driver and want to eat and drive, mobile phone and drive (not that I ever do this ), the list goes on. As for power I dont feel underpowered. It feels good If you want to be a tad bit faster you can shift yourself with the auto stick although you just dont have a clutch then which is half the fun to
