Hey Ron, yeah they are quicker then I thought it'd be But I have 177rwkw although I have a big flatspot at 110 where my power is completely linear upto this point but drops to 60rwkw which sucks. Then by 140kph its back up and by 180kph its at 177rwkw. This is a really annoying dip but I dont go past 110 often but I think its something to do with the stock bov. Does anyone know what could cause such a dip? I think its around the gear change. And I feel the most power over 6000rpm... heh its weird. Apparently I dont reach my max boost efficiency with my turbo until then, according to the guy who dynoed it. Im only running 5psi.

Skylines have the RB20/25/26 Engine some 180's and Silvia's have the SR20 engine which is different.

Yeah pretty surprising why they've come down so much. At the start of the year when I was looking for a car you couldn't get a Series 2 96/97 under $22k.

You can get newer 96/97 Series 2 Skylines for under $20k. Like this one is a auto but its in NSW: Skyline 96 Auto or this one is a manual in bris: Bris Skyline I didn't realise some 96/97 S2 Skylines are so cheap if you have a look at www.carsales.com.au they are really cheap. Like $18k for a 96 Auto Turbo. Bargain.

My Oil Pressure is 4 normally at idle. Then after really hard driving it goes up to 6. I think it overflowed. I couldn't see very well but I opened the bonnet one night and the little holder just to the left of the right engine bay suspension top. Is this it? If it overflows is this bad? Whats an ideal Oil Pressure and what should I do? Just let some out? What does the Oil Pressure mean if its high or low anyways?

Yeah mine does to. But it feels much faster when that happens. It only happened after the exhaust. I think its running a bit rich when this happens but other then that it accompany's the stock bov's tiny phsst sound

Yeah I just got my exhaust done and it pops sounds a bit like a tiny backfire when it gets a lot of rpm's suddenly

Well I got quite a surprise when it made 177rwkw with the new exhaust. Had no idea it would give that much more. I couldn't get the dyno sheet cause the shop was already shut when I picked it up and I just picked it up from the front but yeah so far completely stock automatic r33 except the exhaust. Could it of been the dyno? It was a Bosch Power Test dyno. Does this matter or affect it?

Yeah Robyn is awesome. $3050 for 18yr old R33 turbo. Damn cheap!

When they dynoe'd mine they shifted it manually at 6000 or it could of been 6500. hippy yeah I get the comparison dyno paper today It better give me at least 10rwkw.... bah things are so expensive for little power

Well I took my car to CES Racing in Bris to get my exhaust changed and we did a dyno to show before and after. It wasn't in Shootout mode just normal and it got 146rwkw completely stock. The car is just a few days old and nothing has been touched. I thought this is a bit hight for a stock gts specially an auto, is it? Also they hooked a boost gauge up just for the dyno and it only runs 5psi when it should be like 6 or 7psi? Well I'm not complaining but yeah the twin dump full exhaust should be a good boost. Also getting the car dynoed after the exhaust tomorrow so will be interesting to see how much better it is... I cant wait Plus next friday I'm getting the S-AFC II and the ebc installed and tuned as well. Will probaly run the boost to at least 12psi. Anyone think over 190rwkw with the auto is possible with only these mods?

Yeah I got one as well. The TV is kinda cool how it folds out but its all in Jap. Is there any way at all to tune Australian TV? It has the TV antennae's on the back. And does the CD player and tv work together? For example you can change the source on the CD Player to TV and the TV pops out. Also its cool how not all the lights go on when the car lights aren't on. You turn the car lights on and everything else on the CD player turns on Cool feature.... anyone know anything more what we can do with these? Mine has like a box in the boot for it and a box under the passenger seat with Carrozzeria written on it. It seems like it's taken over the car. heh

Hey Champinco you still having this problem? Im having the exact same problem. I just got my car yesterday and unfortunately after about a 100k its started squeaking. Not a normal squeak but more a crackly squeak like brake pad dust or something? And its only comming from my front left. Did machining it help?

Yeah just that I have a choice between 3.5 and 3" so if its pretty uneccesary then I'll just stick to 3" as lower range power is better for me. Im aiming for around 180-200kw. With the muffler I know usually they dont make much of a difference but surely a twin tip muffle would be different then say a 4" tip? What would be the best sort of muffler to get with a 3"?

Rob, would it be over 200kw at least? Obviously it would also depend on the way you drive but if its not to hard then 200kw should be ok?

Are the auto's really that weak? What would you have to do, to make them handle at least 180rwkw? Maybe a trans cooler would of helped. Guilt-Toy were you running higher boost at all? They're pretty impressive times for an auto!

Yeah im probaly gonna get the twin dump pipe so it has a seperate pipe from the wastegate. Is this much of an improvment cause its like $700 just for the twin dump alone.

Just wondering what would be better. A full 3" exhaust or 3.5"? Is it worth getting a 3.5" exhaust? Would I notice much difference?

Well I just got my Skyline which is an auto the other day and I'm just wondering what power people have gotten with their auto's and what mod's they've done? Also what sort of 1/4 times are people with auto's getting?

You'll find Qld to be more relaxed in terms of mods. I know in NSW your meant to keep a list of all the mods you have performed (or is that vic) in QLD as long as its legal its fine. Check the Department of Transport's website, it tell you quite a bit.

I have it on DVD and I have a DVD burner. Dunno how long it would take. Proably a while to copy the 2 series and the movie. I got the whole lot of Ebay for like $80 plus postage from Honk Kong.
