Why are some dyno's only done upto 110Km/hr ? Surely if they went to 180kph it would higher?

Its weird how most people who have their car's broken into or the ones we here about on here are from Sydney. Is Sydney really this bad? Looking at performance forums almost 95% of the stolen posts are from people in Sydney. Surely this stuff has to happen elsewhere? I know it would but why does Sydney have so much more car theft then other cities?

Is this open to anyone? I dont post much on here but I get my car from compliancing on wednes and would be interested in coming along. Is there anyone I can meet up before hand and follow them cause I have no idea where to go? heh

Hey Champinco I just got mine to, actually its a few days away. Almost done getting compliance. All up it cost me $18k or just under. Its completely stock and has done 73k. Its the same a S2 97 gts. What mods you gonna do straight away? Did you get yours imported or picked it up locally?

Yeah from ringing around, spacers are illegal well in qld and your car wont even pass road worthy if you try.

Well I've only driven mine from the docks back to the dude who complies the car but mine were also squeaky. Pretty bad. But they did have rust. Would this be all thats causing it? You sure machining them is only $40? How long would it take and any old tyre place could do it right?

I'm about to get 17 X 8 ROH Fury rims for my Series II gtst and was told by the guy that I might need spacers. He said the calipers are quite big and it might not fit. Will this be a problem with these sorts of wheels?

Hey, yeah just wondering if anyone knows of cheap places preferably from the Gold Coast to Sunshine Coast region that sell cheap Skyline Body Kits. I'm after a GTR Spoiler, Sideskirts and Chin Spoiler. I could get it from unique auto sports but they seem a bit expensive. Plus the fact they have to be posted whereas if I can find it locally I just can just pick it up. I know some places have websites does anyone know any? Thanks in advance!

Ive seen Australian Versions go for $7,500. Why dont you keep the Skyline and do it in real life? It was the Initial D game that partially influenced my decision to get a Skyline

Just get your license first and enjoy driving it. A NA skyline still rawks so enjoy it. Then after a couple of years turbo it and you'll enjoy it and appreciate it more
