theres a big difference in price between a rb25de and a rb25det. If u wanna keep it non turbo then i recomend a rb25de. makes alot more torque. A decent mechanic should be able to do the labour costs for 500-600 i rekon, as this is wat i was quoted to do a rb25NEO in my r33. Bear is mind that other bits might need changin as well so these are additional costs.

what about those chamois?? wouldnt they reach a point as well where they cannot absorb anymore?? but i guess u are contiously washin the cloth out so it doesnt realli build up. i currently use a meguires lambs mitt??? anything better then this on the market??

ok, so im gettting the impression not to use a dry wash mitt. I just thought of this as an option because ive just had a custom paintjob on my car in "satin black" (looks like marble) and i thought that using a dry mitt could keep it lookin smint insteat of havin to wash it all the time. HRmm, that car wash glove was what i was thinkin of as well, but i guess just so long as the glove is wet, does that mean the rest of the car needs to be wet??? or can you use a wet glove on a dry car?

generalli no, u wont get that sound. it is possible if u have a cold air induction to make the sound louder, but once i put my exhaust on, u cant hear the suckin of the pod anymore. Bear in mind that my car is non-turbo. i have heard that there are much louder pods such as the apexi n1 i think, and the HKS mushroom pod is quite a loud one as well.

If she has up'd her boost, then yes, its prolli better to upgrade to a bigger FMIC. Point of an intercooler is to allow the turbo to be run at higher PSI.

Oiled pods are like K&N ones where the pod filter is lubricated. Panel and pod filters are completly different things, as a panel filter is simply a panel used in your stock air box and a pod is a filter in the shape of a cone. Turbos are most definatly NOT essential for a Pod/ panel filter although u do get that lovely WHOOSH noise from forced induction.

r31 alreadi uses a rb30 right?? hopefulli it shouldnt be too much effort to squeeze the turbo version into it. i say go ahead and do it.

That little flap is meant to be attached to a cable to allow u to open up the exhaust fulli. Its meant to open up at high revs and then close againt at lower revs for a more quieter note. Im yet to find a car that actualli has that cable but me and my dad were thinkin of somehow creatin a mechanism that opens up that second exhaust route at high revs to give a much better sound. In the end we couldnt be bothered so i just slapped a magna flow on instead.

im pretty sure that autoworx doesnt have r32's. last time i went down there all there were stockin is s2 r33 and r33 4 doors. They said it was cuz these cars sell the best....although those 4 doors seem to be sittin around alot

my does the same. happened cus i had a suspension accident. realli scares me when i make trips down south and have to see it on for 5 hours.

i prefer my exhaust sound to come from the rear. no cabin drone and want to hear my engine at the front. takes alot of effort to perfect this sound set up.
