Why did i get chopped by a fto!!!???
paully_tee replied to paully_tee's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
man, i thought this thread was dead by now..... i lost a drag. im over it. -
just get em installed properly. I got mine installed for 200 bux and there were a couple under the dash as well. If u get em installed then u most likely get a lifetime warranty on the installation. Neons look phat on the right ride and ppl will onli rag on ya cuz they got conflicting tastes. Plus chix dig it WIKKDLY cuz they like bright stuff. And if it came down to it, i'd rather get laid....

R32 skyline vs Silvia (sr20det)
paully_tee replied to menco's topic in General Automotive Discussion
lol, sorry. i meant s13. keyboard slip -
hrmmm, well the engine is minus the sump which can apparently be sourced from the r33 block. install is just 600 from sst
-
urmmm, sst says in the ball park of abt 5000-6000. Just not in my budget. Scored the NEO from a fellow SAU member. Bargain price of 1000.
-
lol. looks like sst can do it no worries. They just told me to laff at hyperdrive as they think the job is a 3 day job. All thats need is my old engine in case some minor components need to be swapped. oi cheers 666dan, you been a great help
-
hey y'all. sorry to start up a new thread like this but it seems that the topic has changed now. im lookin into transplantin a rb25NEO but the guys are hyperdrive rekon it cant be done? Alotta u guys seeem to think its a str8 ECU swap + motor swap. The guys at hyperdrive say u cant just swap harness and ecu. Who am i to believe??? lol, cheers for all ur help guys.

R32 skyline vs Silvia (sr20det)
paully_tee replied to menco's topic in General Automotive Discussion
ezy decision. ive owned a non turbo s15, and now own a non turbo r33. skyline pisses all over it. even though they are both non turbo, the luxury of a line is heaps better. BTW, wat kindov question is that in a skyline forum??? -
btw, do u rekon the non-turbo box will hold, and keep the front cut box in storage, or should i pull it out str8 away and try and score some money for it???
-
budget will be 3000. 3500 absolut max. u rekon i could get away with it???
-
hrmmmm, after much thought, im glad to say im gonna go the turbo conversion my friends. it seems like its gonna b alotta stress, but i was gonna go boost eventualli. will most probably do its with hyperdrive as they have never made fun of me whenever i go into there workshop in my NA. anyone haf any experience with then?? will keep u all posted on how the work goes.

-
hey y'all, was out last night givin my 'line the beatin of its life. the engine was so close to being ***d im not surprised it blew in spectacular fashion. F****en fan snapped off at the water pump and came off all together smashing alotta parts in there. Just wanna know wat a good price would be to pay for a rb25de with less then 50000km. is there anyway to make sure they are real km?? im in perth so if anyone knows of any places, it would be appreciated. thanx guys

just got a quote from famous. abt 1900 a year for a non turbo. The best thing u can do is just lie and say u'd gotten a half decent quote somewhere else and they'll beat it by a couple of hundred bucks. -
dad seems to think that the car is only running on 5 cylinders. Is this even possible???
-
i got a na 33. i rekon you'll get bored of it hey. Drivin around in it looks good, but u do tend to get alotta WRX's+ other lines+ silvias+ 180sx, just abt any other sports car, wantin to drag. I got bored of my in abt 2 months. Its a great car to start with but i wouldnt be surprised if u start lookin into a turbo a couple of months after.
-
hey. sorry to hijack this threa. I got some sort of weird engine trouble as well. me and my mate took my na line out for a right royal thrashin, and now when the whole car shakes with vibrations. Feels like a bolt has come loose holdin the engine together. Anyone had this problem b4???

Insurance Headache :: Please Help

im a 19 yr old driver with a na 33. got quoted 2400 for full comprehensive from just car, which is bloody rediculous. I then got quoted 800 for fire and theft where the maximum claim could be 5000. WTF is goin on with just car??? i thought they were half decent, its easier to get comprehensive with HBF who did it for 1800 because of a "case by case" decision.
