In answer to your next question, Alberts in Myaree should be able to hook you up with some subwoofers.

Bumping a very old thread here... I recently helped a mate put an R32 GTR diff into this R34 GT-FOUR (changed the axles etc aswell). The diff he bought had an S15 rear cover on it which meant that the sensors on either side of the diff wouldn't fit properly (it's been a while since I looked at it but from memory one type sat on a flange-thing with a screw hole in it and the other type looked like it was glued in). He now wants to change the rear cover so that the sensors will fit (original diff is long gone). So the question is really, which rear cover to get? From reading this thread it looks as though the R33 GTST / S14 diff cover should fit and line up the sensors properly and the R34 GTT won't? Is that correct?

Eoi: Sau:wa Meet & Greet - Sunday 19Th - Core Cider
JH32 replied to Rekin's topic in Western Australia
Hey mate, car is in the shop this week but could be keen if I get it back in time. Could also probably get another mate with a 34 and another with s15 - will chat to them tomorrow. Core Cider is up in the hills right? -
Nice times, what tyres were you using?

Beware - R33 Gtr For Sale In Sydney (Part 2)
JH32 replied to dodgyimports's topic in General Automotive Discussion
I think you're missing the point here mate. The point is that the auction sheet shows 189,000 and the advert now shows the car to have 79,310km. Yet another dodgy dealer scamming the unsuspecting/naive public by offering a car for sale that they say has done 40% of its actual mileage. How and why are these importers are getting away with this still? It's an absolute joke. -
Looking nice mate. How well do those seats fit when shutting the door, e.g. does the shoulder bolster touch the door trim at all?

Got Dooped By A Gtr Owner In Endevour Hills Anyone Know Where He Lives?
JH32 replied to x-wants to slide's topic in Victoria
As much as the guy sounds like a douche bag, and I'm sorry to hear about your experience, I doubt that even if anyone did know the guy they'd pass on his address! Having said that, a quick look on whitepages shows there's not too many people with that surname in Melbourne (that are listed), and Google maps shows they're not far from Endeavour Hills. Maybe get your mate to drive past the addresses and see if there's an R33 GTR parked out the front. -
Sard Fuel Pressure Regulator E85 Safe?
JH32 replied to Chris32R's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
I'm using a Sard FPR with E85, have only been using E85 for less than 6 months but so far so good. -
93 R32 Gtr Street Monster!
JH32 replied to Jake91's topic in Members Cars, Project Overhauls & Restorations
I'm sure #@Piggaz was using a coppermix - in his build thread he said he was running ~420rwkw and had done over 250 launches and it looked good when he took it out so he put it back in. They can't be all that bad! -
Good on you for doing the right thing by the next purchaser, hope you track down the car.
-
Cool build! Have always thought an RB25 in an S15 would be a fun combo to do.

Ah righto, I was under the impression that V-Spec models had the active LSD but I could very well be wrong!

Thanks mate

Bolt-In Cage With Rear Seat For Bnr32 ?
JH32 replied to cobrAA's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
This guy has "sort of" done it - could probably get one passenger in. Given you're in Canada though I'd have no idea where you'd get it made. http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/105872-my-skyline-gt-r-r32.html -
Hi guys I would like to install an ETS-Pro ATTESSA controller in my R32 GTR however Full Race say they don't work with Active LSDs. My car is a Vspec model and therefore should have come from factory with the active LSD, though having had a look under the car I think it might just be a regular LSD. Can anyone confirm by looking at the pic attached (sorry about the shitty photo)? I had a look here and it looks as though (on an R32) the plain cover indicates active LSD: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/353310-identifying-r32-gtr-rear-diff/ Also had a look here and the diff in the first pic clearly shows a hydraulic line coming out of the bottom right hand side of the diff: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/268134-r33-gtst-active-lsd-information/ Here's a pic of what is apparently an active LSD, taken from gtr.co.uk:

A mate of mine bought a 32 GTR front cut from Rollin, looked like they bolted the thing together with bits and pieces from old motors. Turbos were seized, radiator 50% blocked, hoses were all brittle and needed replacing, bits and pieces missing. It was a shambles and a huge waste of $5k.

Is Ovaboost under relatively new management or has it always been the same people running it? Just curious because there was an R32 GTR for sale a while ago on Gumtree (maybe a year ago?) that was supposedly owned by the guy that owns Ovaboost - "seller's other items" included an 'automotive workshop business' PS I don't know anything about Ovaboost and have never been there.

Did you send your VIN/chassis details to #@dodgyimports so he can check whether the km's stated on the sales contract were in fact, dodgy?

Hey mate, was having another flick through your thread and saw this - my oil cooler was mounted in a very similar spot until last month when I was at the racetrack and nicked the ripple strip with the oil cooler. Only put a hole that was max 2mm in diameter but had to shut the motor down and tow the car home as I emptied a fair amount of oil. Had to buy a new oil cooler which I've now positioned in front of the radiator - never want that to happen again and would hate for it to happen to others as for such a small hole it caused me big dramas!

Keen to see the result of the odo check.

I'm sure they're all pretty good - really it just comes down to you practising. Might be worth noting whereabouts in Perth you are though.
