  1. Good work Pete, when do they think you'll have it back with a new and improved tune?
  2. Ah yeah I've seen that before, yours must have some mental midrange!
  3. Yeah just staying 2.6 for now, until I blow it up I guess haha. The 6262 does seem to work bloody well on a 2.6, I'm impressed with the turbo's performance. There's a guy on these forums with a 6266 which seems to make good power and looks relatively responsive from his dyno chart...then I saw someone else say that a 6466 doesn't offer a huge amount of lag over the 6266 - who knows! Nice Definitely would have picked the RPF1s....should look mint. What size and offset did you go for?
  4. What's the procedure for doing this? I mean, do you just do it as if you were bolting the head down for the first time i.e. follow the regular ARP installation procedure with respect to the pattern of studs installed and the torque applied?
  5. Nice builds Corey! Got any pics to share? Mine is sitting on axle stands at the moment as I'm changing suspension setups. Might give it a respray later in the year and then think about swapping out the current turbo setup for a precision turbo of some sort....6262, 6266 or even 6466 .... dunno yet, need to do more research!
  6. I've meant to ask this for a while now but it keeps skipping my mind.... Has anyone that has installed one of these found that the front diff seems to be working overtime even when dialled back? When the car is cold and I reverse out of my driveway, the front of the car hops around a lot when I turn the wheel....almost feels like it wants to break something...didn't do that prior to installing the ETS Pro. Have wired it up per the instructions in this guide and I don't know if it makes any difference but I have a Nismo 1.5 way in the front.
  7. Yeah, well, unfortunately there's a huge amount of bullshit too!
  8. Why don't you just save a little longer and get the right gear rather than try to hock together random parts?
  9. Ah nice. This must be how they sit (below), I'd never really looked at this as an option previously but it looks nice and neat. I'm sitting on the limit of my single in-tank walbro 460 as well with 450rwkw. Here's a pic I found but can't embed: http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.php?s=8af826ece3f8929f2721f38bcd721dfe&app=core&module=attach&section=attach&attach_rel_module=post&attach_id=344551
  10. That looks like a pretty good option. How do the pumps sit in the cradle though? Or do they just hang and you somehow sit the pickups on the floor of the tank?
  11. Pretty sure HPI are 3" edit: snap jangles
  12. See if this stirs up any banter, I saw it on the UK forums the other day. The guy has a Hollinger in his 33 GTR, .....with paddle shifters!
  13. Most cars on gumtree are utter dirtboxes, if the owner can't even shell out $50 for an advert then what else haven't they shelled out for
  14. Looks nice mate
  15. Looks much better!
  16. Out of interest Pete, what/who made you go for the 3.2L stroker in the first place? Given the expense it seems like a curious mod path (to me) given what you wanted from the motor and given you had no prior experience with RB motors!
  17. How are the MCA red for street driving? A mate has them in his S15 and reckons they're pretty harsh for the street but good at the track. MCA blue might be a reasonable compromise for the street?
  18. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the front is the same as R33 GTR and the rear is the same as S15/R34 GTT. So you could either buy bits and pieces to suit or as Nizmo-man has linked, the BC BR will work.
  19. And no questions asked
  20. I'm assuming he was talking to KPCresta
  21. Have a look here, it's a RIPS install from NZ...single fogger just before the plenum: http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/75197-r-i-p-s-nitrous-install.html
  22. Yep just keep going with what you have I reckon. This build feels like it's been about 10 years in the making, no point changing route now when I'm sure you've bought most of what you need?
  23. Should move to the Group Buy section, you might get more interest / views
  24. Paid I've been a member since 2002 and appreciate all the hard work that has gone into maintaining this great site
