danm you all you postwhores i just went by the title but was un-fashionably late.

agree with not revving hard. i have to rev my 20 to 8G in 2nd to get the best pull into 3rd gear. putting in a larger crank means machining the block so that it will turn and not hit the sides with the larger rod bolts it requires also i think you'll need new rods because the stroke with the new crank will be wrong (longer or shorter i'm not sure) and you will need new pistons to hold up 400kw. on top of that when you build a new engine you always getknew rod bolts, head styds etc and like i said before you get it machined. muchos deneros needed

you'll never get 2.8l consider than the larger rb26 black uses a GTR crank and its only 2.6 litres. you get about 2.55 or something. i was considering a similar operation for my rb20 but the machine cost for the block are huge - it would be slightly less for an RB25 but still very costly. you could put forged pistons and rods in the 25 and with that turbo and a really good ecu you should make 400 rwkw but seriously if your gonna go that far just get a new block 26 or 30 and slap your 25 head. if you use a GTR block crank rods and forged pistons and a good ecu you be able to safely support 400rwhp... for a while. there's plenty of ppl on here selling their GTR bottom ends. talk to a workshop or machine shop for quotes because you HAVE to get the stuff machined, if you don't you blow gaskets like a prostitute. RB30's are probably the best option.. although i'd like to see someone put a barra 204t in a skyline... see my signature.

Stuff for sale!!! - Sydney, Northern Beaches RB20 block, crank + cradle, rods and pistons - assembled, pistons are probably no good (head gasket blew on this engine) crank and rods are great. comes with water pump, harmonic balancer, flywheel and adaptor plate but NO SUMP OR OIL PICKUP. done about 80thouk's. Pressure tested before head gasket blew and it did fine. $SOLD R32 GTR style front bar to fit GTS-t - flexible fiberglass composite. unpainted, brand new still in plastic, never used $550.00 Greddy Rebik II Extra injector controller (dash unit) and piggy back computer - Works great, still in car but fuel line is unhooked. $ will swap for a case of Tooheys Pills if you have it professionally removed from my car... or make an offer 2 x GTR 440cc injectors on custom 2.5 inch inlet pipe with custom fuel rail. $80.00 or will swap for replacement intercooler return inlet piping - from the join below the headlight to the crosspipe. or make an offer Racing boots - high top, bayside blue (looking) colour, great condition. bought for $80 on ebay but never used - to small - size 8. i am very interested but very wary about buying second hand pistons. can i ask why you took them out of your engine? -
I tried painting my calipers while they where still on the disc and its hard and shitty and unless you use alot of newspaper you will get paint on your car. Its really hard to get the back of the caliper. Your much better off taking them off, brake lines and all and doing it. you get a much more even coat all over and you can replace your pads while your at it. for the embossed nissan part, i just continually wiped mine as i went then a bit of minor sanding got it all off. i ended up painting it white with a small brush which was really easy.

FURTHER DETAILS: Black '89 R32 Gts-t Type M 81,000 K's approx ENGINE: RB20DET recently fitted - Old engine was on the way out with a leaking head gasket. this comes with the car for spares or rebuild Mines ECU GREDDY mechanical boost controller. HKS Power Flow filter with large heat sheild HKS T04 Type low mount turbo with small heat sheild. HKS exhuast manifold HKS 45mm Wastgate with screamer pipe 3" approx dump to 4" racing exhuast with cat and Kakimoto Racing Muffler. Nice and quiet when off boost. Trust front mount cooler Pro Peirce BOV Earl's Oil cooler and upgraded oil lines R32 GTR fuel pump SARD rising rate fuel pressure regulator GREDDY Rebik II extra injector controller, 2 GTR injectors mounted on manifold with custom fuel rail. This was installed in Japan and i have unhooked the fuel line beacuse it isn't necessary for the boost i'm running. Engine is internally standard and running on 0.8 bar of boost. Runs very well. Always warmed up, and waited until the fuel pump was fully primed until driving. Performance is laggy until about 4000 rpm. Typical of this turbo setup on an RB20. After that performance is excellent. Sounds fantastic too. An RB20 can reliably handle about 1 bar with this equipment, i had planned to install a new computer to run GTR injectors but haven't yet SO THE GTR INJECTORS COME WITH THE CAR. Radiator has just been reconitioned with new end tanks. The old engine has dynoed 177 rwkw backing off in 4th - doesn't sound much but its high revs power which means high speed. The new engine should make a better curve especially in the low range. many mechanics have estimated low 12 sec quarter mile times from the car - i live on the northern beaches so i have never taken it out to the strip. DRIVELINE & SUSPENSION: As new Exeedy clutch - flywheel was machined when fitted. Comes with old button centre puck clutch that can be rebuilt. (this clutch was much better than the new one, easier on the leg, much better bite and aloowed quicker gearshift also) Standard gearbox and driveshaft Aftermarket diff - unsure of type HICAS cancel bar Standard brakes Front strut brace HKS stuts all round - firm ride and great handling, makes the steering very direct. 17" lightweight AVS 5 dual spoke alloys. Good tyres allround - 215 medium rubber front and 235 hard rubber rear (wears out slower) INTERIOR: Personal leather steering wheel - leather a little perished on one side Standard seats Air Con regassed Fake Carbon fibre pattern trim on door inserts (i didn't put it there!! it would be easy to remove i just haven't bothered) Razo shift knob and pedals. Omini boost gauge mounted in dash cluster infront of the stock boost dial 3x Omni guages mounted in REAL carbon fibre surround in glove box - oil pressure - oil temp - exhuast temp HKS Turbo Timer also mounted in glove box - currently not connected, it looks like someone tried to nick it while the car was on the ship from japan but was unsuccessful. I have always just sat in the car for an extra minute while the turbo cooled down - sounds far fetched but i loved this car. Air vents are almost all good, 2 bent slats bent the wrong way from one of those japanese cup holders. this can be fixed if you take them out. Stereo, kept to a minimum. - JVC CD Head unit - Apline two way 4x6 front speakers - Sub in rear (not selling with the car) BODY: In fair condition. NO RUST at all. no serious damage. I have never paid much attention to the looks of this car as i prefer it to look as inconspicuous as possible (sleeper), also it attracts less attention from theives and vandals. Full Type M Kit - front bar has small crack and scratches - left side skirt is cracked - rear bumper is scuffed and cracked R32 GTR Wing Paint on bonnet is peeling (its because it goes so fast ) Small dent on LHR quater above the wheel arch Comes with unpainted R32 GTR front bar made to fit Gts-t. Still in wrapping. I loved this car and will be very sorry to see it go but seeing as i cant drive it until i get my full license i can't afford to hang on to it. Great performer, suprising for an internally stock RB20, and still a great daily driver off boost. When you're off boost it attracts very little police attention - it looks like a stock Gts-t with an exhaust. Rego until late August. Many receipts for work.

sorry for the late reply, i have been away. without pulling the engine down i don't know exactly whats wrong with it. from my mechanics inspection it seems to just be the head gasket. the engine runs, and the more you run it the better it gets but you can see the water and oil leaking from the gasket. i would really doubt that there is any head or cylinder damage. i was'nt pushing it when it overheated it simply ran out of coolent due to a hole in my radiator. price is $300

i think the 98bd regulation is for street meets only. not for pro drags like the mx6. its one of those things to make sure your car is actually a street car. I know mine is louder than 98db at the screamer pipe. no restiction just 45mm wastegate off the manifold to a 2" by 4" pipe. ooooh its soooo good. even makes the V8 drivers turn their heads.

just go for a drive. dont like meet with people then race that boring. as much i know street racing is stupid, i love it because when you pull up next to someone you have no idea who they are or how good their car is and so on. thats half the rush for me. but the rush will get your license lost. happened to me twice now. and then you say oh f**k it i'll drive without my license well i'd rather spend 6 months not driving than being caught racing without a licnese and spend 3 months in juvee! or end up crashing into a mother with a car full of kids and killing them all. hmmmm

As far as defamation and slander goes, if the comment is true, ie saying "workshop X tuned my power FC" and you say that you 'believe' that the performance of the car was at a lesser standard than before you took it workshop x. and you back this up with proof - receipts and dyno sheets. you cannot be sued. you cant just up say workshop x is full of flaming faggits and they ripped me off because this is probably not true and you cant prove it BUT you can publicly say that you were not impressed by the work of workshop x and would not recommend people to use them. Think of all those people who review movies. they say that shit and its not like they're gonna say if universal them comes up and says 'you've caused us a $3 million loss in sales, see you in court'
