    Adm For 109k

price dropped already to 105k only after 1 ( or maybe 2 ) days on carsales !!!!! The gtr seems to depreciate quite rapidly . Redbook values 09 premium gtrs (for trade in) around the 106k mark for one that has done 20000km . So with this car having 44000kms the price seems to be right in terms of what the dealer would offer him. I wonder what they would be worth towards the end of next year ?
  2. so are they steel or ceramic as a scratch on the Blade shows a Shiny surface which could indicate steel , I have read many articles which say ceramic and a few which say steel. I. need a definate answer soon Cheers for all help
  3. gtr r35 on ebay check out the link http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...rksid=p3907.m29 if the link doesn't work , just go to ebay.com.au and search gtr cheers
  4. what is the size of the pipes. Is it a twin 2.5inch (inlet ) leading to a single 3 inch (outlet) pipe. cheers mike
  5. correct me if i'm wrong , but if you import a car for rally/race purposes it would never be able to be complied for road use. I though that to register a car it needs to be imported as a road car to begin with. If i'm wrong then this would be a bargain to buy . regards mike
  6. can anyone else shed some more light on this topic ? mike
  7. hi all, i know that when a stock turbo fails on the gtr, the ceramic dust gets sucked into the engine and kills the engine. However i have only heard of this happening to r32's and r33's , mostly r32's. Has anyone heard of this happening to r34's . I know for sure that all r32, r33 and r34's (except the n1 and nurs ) have ceramic wheels so the potential is their. But i still haven't heard of any r34's doing this. Does anyone know of any r34 gtr's who have had their engine killed by the ceramic dust. regards mike
  8. hey nis, i have never heard of anyone achiveing 250 rwkw on stage 1 without computer . I thought it was more like 210 awkw. Unless 210awkw is 250 rwkw ?most people with exhuast and boost only achives 210awkw or thereabouts . I agree with - pm-r33 Current Specs: R33 GTR 1996 Stock Turbos running @ 1bar Apexi POD Filters Apexi Front Pipes HKS High Power Exhuast Havent had it dyno tuned yet so not sure what power figure but i would have though at least 200awkw yeah? Expected Power Figure:? If the engine is healthy i would say around 210kw with these mods mike
  9. i'm assuming that is after remapping the stock ecu. Otherwise how is this possible ? A gtr with exhuast and increased boosts gets around 210awkw-230awks. SO how do u get 250 awkw unless you tune the stock euc or get an after market one ? as stated by pm-r33 Havent had it dyno tuned yet so not sure what power figure but i would have though at least 200awkw yeah? Expected Power Figure:? If the engine is healthy i would say around 210kw with these mods New specs this monday hopefully: 550cc Nismo Injectors PowerFC Dyno Tune Expected Power Figure :? Anywhere from 230-240kw depending on the tune[/i mike
  10. hi nismoid, i thought a power fc would increase his power from about 200awkw to 250awkw ? regards mike
  11. looking for turbos that will fit a r34 gtr . must have steel wheels so i will consider rebuilt stock ones with steel wheels or gt ss, n1's, 2560-7, gt2530 etc . dont want any bigger than 2530 as they will be too laggy for me cheers mike
  12. might be a hard question to answer, but does anyone know how much labour cost are involved in changing turboes on a gtr . do i also need a re-tune as well. cheers people
  13. Does anyone do this sort of work in the Brisbane or Gold coast area. cheers
  14. shaun, that is cheap for a r35 gtr . what would be wrong with the car if any . where can i confirm about compliance . So if i buy it I can comply it when the plates are available mike
  15. shaun , does that mean i can buy the black one from j-spec and comply it . I though compliance was not available yet . mike
  16. CHECK THIS OUT ON J-SPEC http://www.j-spec.com.au/list/index.php?ID=12256
  17. manual for sure . I thought the evos were not coming out in traditional manual , just dsg . cheers mike
  18. i read that it only had 350hp, but not sure if it was atw or flywheel. if it was atw then 420hp would be about right. does anyone else know ? cheers mike
  19. does anyone know what the power rating is for a stock 34gtr nur ? cheers mike
  20. is there some way to check if a car is a genuine gtr from the vin no. or other methods ? If a gtst has has an rb26tt transplant and other bits replaced, flared guards etc ( basically a very good replica ), it could look very much like a real gtr. Is there any way of checking for sure ? cheers mike
  21. whats's the colour of the car ? mike
  22. i think he meant the gtr evo was going to be 150k not the mitsubishi EVO X . mike
  23. i'm hoping the source is reliable. I always hoped the new gtr will sell for about 100k . Not that I'm buying one , i just want to buy a r34 gtr. If the price of new gtrs are about 6.6m yen in japan I'm sure a lot of japanese would be upgrading as they like to have the newest of everything. Thus there will be a flood of old r34gtrs on the market , thus the prices should drop dramatically , like 20% . I remember when 8 year old r33 gtr were about 32-40k . Thus 8 year old r34 (99 models) should be the roughly the same. Fingers crossed !!! mike
  24. does anyone know what turbos were used in the z tune . All the articles i've read just say that they are a race spec ihi turbo. What are they similar to, gtss or hks2530 ? cheers mike
  25. i'm holding off buiying an r34 gtr as i believe the prices will drop when the new model arrives . how much i don't know , but hopefully at least 20% . ie stock ones for around the early 50k now, would be around the 40k (by early 2008 hopefully) any comments welcome cheers mike
