  1. I thhought it would have been like an rfid ignition system except hooked up to fuel pump. I still want to use the key to start
  2. Cheers for the tip bro. Was kinda hoping for something a little closer to home though haha
  3. Ahh, nice. Thanks for that (sorry for the slight thread hijack btw )
  4. Is there a system available for the c34 that can do the same?
  5. S2 c34 rs4s gets 400km from 3/4 tank (have never run it into the last 1/4) if I drive like a total nana with only one or two slight boost moments. 350km if driving a little more spirited. Driving on the highway between adelaide and melbourne I got 550kms approx. (I dont know how big the tank is to do ltrs/100km) but would assume its between 13 and 16 lt/100km average. Fair heavy considering the charger (with a 4.3ltr 4bbl auto) does about 15-17 lt/100km.. and it weighs about the same lol
  6. Ive recently been thinking about putting a killswitch in my stagea. Ive sat in the drivers seat and picked out 5 places I would look for one if I was to steal a car amd can't think of another convenient place to put it so im now thinking of a proximity sensor (like an rfid key tag amd a unit under the dash or similar wired up to the fuel pump). Has anyone done this or seen this done before? Also need it time delayed or run through the turbo timer. Does anyone know of a reputable alarm specialist in Adelaide that might be able to help out with putting my words into action? As I have a poor history of auto elecricianism.. Any help or guidance would be much appreciated
  7. Im so in right now will need at least 3 weeks notice though for work which makes it kinda just 'hope for the best' haha. Not saying we shouldn't though
  8. Adelaide.. white rs4 dayz (Plate: --U982) turning right onto seacombe rd from south about midnight. Gave you a bit of a wave as drove past when you turned right again on diagonal rd
  9. Weather was too shit so I didn't end up going maybe another time though. Thabls for your replies though
  10. Adelaide...saw a maroon s1 up on bains rd near piggot range rd this morning. Was driving the white s2 headiďng in the other direction
  11. Off to camp on the beach tomorrow morning
  12. May I please have my name changed to c34Florry? Thanks in advance. Also, im assuming that I would log in with the new name?

  14. Saw a white r32 4door this morning about 8. main south road flinders hospital intersection (and further). Doing skids in the wet like an idiot.. did a fishtale u turn and lost it. not on the road douche
  15. Interesting.. I definitely will post the results if I do end up on the sand. meanwhile, id love to hear more about peoples thoughts on the matter. So far I'm split 50/50 whether or not to do so. Ive also seen people do beach driving in commies/falcons and the like.. even corollas at silver sands..
  16. Also true
  17. Are you referring to a manual torque splitter? My stag is a manual, dont have a torque splitter intalled though.Stags would also be heavier than a scoobie I would suspect..and not fulltime awd like its japanese cousin
  18. Mm.. the no lock diff does have me a bit worried and I am aware of the difference between awd and 4wd. Its at standard height but the tyres are indeed for road use.. but they're brand new.. just didn't want to be out of view of the car in the carpark (although that doesn't matter so much when you're asleep ). Also depends on how the conditions are and how I confident I feel at the time
  19. Was gonna cruise down kingston se way next week in the rs4s and camp on the beach/sand. I've heard and read on numerous occasions that it's a nice beach to drive on because the sand is good and firm. I'll be honest, I haven't been near here before so I dont really know what to expect. Has anyone else ever given a bit of awd action of this respect to their stagea? Any tips/advice? How was your experience? Obviously you wouldn't even try to drive near the water's edge and i'm not about to thrash dunes like I'm a Dakar rally champ.. Just away from the carpark zone enough to be nice and private. I'm also conscious of the fact that it's rwd bias and not full time awd.. Any thoughts?
  20. Pulled up in my mates driveway to go on an Adelaide hills run. It was the first time I showed him and the first time he had seen one. When I got out to greet him I was asked 'I thought you bought a nissan.. this is a volvo right?' Nice
  21. moi bien! Gracias senor
  22. Adelaide. .. dark blue nm35arx about half way up the hill on morphett road the other day
  23. Oops... just realised, wrong thread. sorry
  24. Thanks for the replys guys. Stock ecu as far as I know.. ive had the car 3 weeks or so from japan and its been at 900rpm since. Runs nice but I always thought it had been a little high.. please excuse my ignorance but what is an AAC valve and where is it located? I thought about adjusting the idle control screw but wasn't sure if that would throw out anything else.. bah ecu's lol
