It is arguable what is the most efficient a good after market panel filter in the standard air box or a podfilter. The panel filter in a box will feed the engine cooler air, but a pod will flow far more air. apparently u can run more boost thru the rb25 turbo on the rb20 because it isnt flowing as much air to create the same boost, big thread on it i will find it tonite thanx for the prompt replies Trev

thanx for the feed back guys, i had it dynoed at 185rwhp as is, and that was on matti spry's dyno that reads 10% low.....I also have an rb25 turbo in my garage, all i need to do is fit that get full exhaust and possibly a safc or a chip and hopefully i will be in the 13s.... Trev

hey guys, I ventured up to willowbank last nite for the time, and ran [email protected] with a 60ft of 2.376 My mods include: ebc at 1 bar FMIC 3in cat back system with a resenator and a muffler no cannon pod filter 255 rear tyres i also had my rear struts on their stiffest settings because i forgot to change them to soft will this make much difference, i had issues with launching and got massive wheel spin, with 255s in first!!! hence a really poor 60ft time. Is my time average or is there something i can do to improve my time. Also my mate said he did 14.1 in his 32 on 12 psi with 3inch exhaust, pod filter and no fmic, he was running 205s!! mind u i havent seen the timeslip, any thoughts??? Ok please correct me if i am wrong but isnt 250rwhp a bit optimistic from a standard turbo with standard fuel system out of an rb20? or do u have an rb25?? I had mine dynoed at P.I.T.S the other day and got 185 rwhp with the identical mods, matti said his dyno reads 10% low so it works out at around 200rwhp....he said this is quite good for a standard turboed rb with my mods (including 14.7psi).... any thoughts?? mmmmmmmm cut springs!! mate you are driving a skyline?? maybe yous should invest in some lowered springs before pineapples it is definately the safest thing to do! you dont want those suckers popping out going on a mountain run!
