Ok that will be the first test then I will see what it comes up with. Emmisions test are free from the RTA so it is worth a shot.

I'm not sure of the cat. The guys at the emmisions test said that a tune could bring the numbers down then a Cat if this still doesn't work

It's a stock ecu with a PC data cable plms development data cable. The readings I have from the emmisions test is about 3 times that if what is standard

I'm in Sydney. Exhaust is a 3.5in turbo back. I know current ecu has been tunes

Hi Skyliners! I just got a R32 GTR which has been dyno tuned for the r33 gtr engine replacement that has been fitted, the results form the Emmisions test were almost triple what they should have been and the guys said it is best to get a tune which brings all the numbers down to the legal limit. I am thinking can I just switch over the ECU to a stock one with the standard tune? (can you just plug and play or do they have to be programmed to the car?) or is it better / cheaper to get a new dyno tune for the lower emmisions - I want to keep the tune I have on the ECU later on for nay track days as it is a power tune I believe) Help with IM20 Emmisions test, retune or stock ecu replacement... Thanks in advance any help will be greatly appreciated.
