    ok ill actually bite on this one... rb20 has 3000rpm of useable boost and rb30 has only 2400rpm!!! RB20 WINS!!! if you actually have a look at both your graphs you would actually find that the rb20 would turn out to be faster motor for the car good graphs to compare rb26 vs rb30 are busters rb30 with 51kai and mine or r32gts rb26's with t04z, all are making similar power with very similar rev/power bands

    i had a similar problem when my high mount manifold got hot and melted the loom together... the power fc just came up with apexi and a relay near the power fc was making a ticking noise... engine would not start found the melted loom and had to rewire the whole lot, might not be the same problem but worth a check (loom was melted where it goes around the strut tower on passenger side

    fark you well when u brought your ghey eastern spec autosalon dyno over here i believe it made the highest hp out of a rb in the country without nos!!!

    ant ND4SPD in WA ran 660odd rwkw no nos, i cant remember if it was bp98 or some kind of monkey juice never the less it was on low boost, only 21-24psi or something stupidly low like that edit: apparently was on jungle juice, ill ask him if he ran it on bp98 ever

    im not trying to be rude but we are basing big shims on being shit because they are blamed for causing a problem in one engine?!? did you measure the cam/bucket clearances or did you just stick them in and hope for the best???

    i ran jun 272 10.5mm with bigger shims and did not have a problem!!! which tomei cams needed shims, i believe 272 10.2 are straight drop ins and 272 10.8 need shims or buckets yes?!?

    its ok, your 380hp r33 gtr has a slower trap speed than my old r32gts-t with only 275rwhp on the same dyno you must be a great driver!!!

    in saying that i borrowed someone elses keys in his 32 gts4 with a rb26 with big single running 405rwhp (was laggy as f**k) he was running a mid 12 at 110-112mph... gave me keys and i ran a 11.99 @ 119mph first pass having never driven the car before. i drove it about 20m from the staging lanes to the lights and off i went

    i dont mean to be rude... but if the car was running genuinely running that power (xspeed dyno isnt happy) and you only ran that mph you need to learn how to drive!!! or ring me next time before u go to the plex and ill borrow your keys... should easily run a 11 with that power, but not that mph

    110mph and ur dreaming of 11's... to be realisitic in a gtr without drag radials ur looking at least at 117mph

    230rwkw in a r32 gtr will run between 110-112mph...
