  1. if its a external gated turbo running to atmo a lot of top end zaust gas will be flowing out of the gate... so the exhaust doesnt need to be massive 3" dump and front pipe with a 3.5" is easily enought for around 600rwhp
  2. im pretty sure he ran around 134mph on another pass... he was also running standard box so change from 2nd to 3rd was slower than leasurely which would have dropped the mph a fair bit i would imagine. GRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAPPPPPPPPPHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHSSSSSSSSSSSS
  3. actually it was a different dyno i think, cause my car was tuned on the new 4wd dyno (in 2wd) and chookos was on the old 2wd one chookos made 454rwkw or 608rwhp with similar tune to mine, but made more with cam timing and further tuning. my cams never got moved from zero so may have been a little more in it! same tuner, same workshop, same fuel and very similar engines etc etc
  4. brad!!! clearly you should know you had about 150rwhp of timing in that tune to make that power PING IS POWER
  5. dirt can you post up bp98 tune as well because i want to see comparison of hks t04z with garrett t04z on same fuel mine made 428rwkw on 24psi (garrett) and another has made 468rwkw on 25psi (garrett). both were standard stroke 2.6l's is this a 2.6l?
  6. lol jash is a angry man!!! starionturbo is right (thats a first)... most of the guys in perth and that have posted on here are actually mates with steve rather than fans
  7. then again, he does have a EVO 9 MR which is faster around wanneroo than the gtr that he uses in dutton
  8. its also a lot lower than some 11000-12000rpm rb26's going around still seems very impressive
  9. jun 2.7 for reeeeeeeeeeeevvvvvvvvs hks step 3 for reliable, strong and torque tomei 2.6l fully counterbalanced crank (doesnt come as a kit) for a 2.6l of awesomeness
  10. will have a set of splitfire coils installed on sunday
  11. argo rods and arias pistons here... 430rwkw and ever reliable
  12. i wouldnt even bother rebuilding a rb26 unless you have at least 10k for parts alone... either a 2nd hand motor or go get a loan and do it properly budget 26 WILL end in tears
  13. bump, price drop and serious about selling now all reasonable offers considered $34, 000
  14. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...st&id=49900 god bless the internet
  15. lots of midrange timing would explain the engine popping a week later and the good response
  16. cant find the graph yet but this gives you some idea... Car : R32 GTST Engine : Rb20det Turbo / Supercharger : GCG RB25 hi-flowed turbo (converted to ext gate) Mods to Note : Zorst, cooler, mangament, injectors/pump , spitfire coils, etc Rev Limit : 8200rpm Diff Ratio : Not sure Dyno : Hyperdrive DD Peak Power : 300rwhp 3000 rpm = Sub 40rwhp 3500 rpm = Sub 80rwhp 4000 rpm = Sub 100rwhp 4500 rpm = 110rwhp
  17. sorry, i should have said full boost (20psi) 5000rpm
  18. doubt away. dyno graphs say im right
  19. funny about 2530's i also consider them on the laggy side i have seen dynos of 2 cars, one with 2.6l T04Z and one with HKS 2.8l with 2530's... same dyno, same tuner, same ecu, similar supporting mods and similar intake temps low and mid range there is no difference, top end Z is in heaven!!! surely a gt3582R is more responsive than a T04Z?!?
  20. quoted for truth!!! in all seriousness aim for 500rwhp with the best response you can get... i'd personally go for a gt3076R with 0.8 bum but others would go low mounts. if u drive a 600rwhp on the street, u are in lag city in 2nd till 70-80km/hr and then be breaking every speed law in the land less than a second later 500rwhp is still bullshit quick, you will scare the shit outta all your mates and itll still be good for a high ten if u can get off the line and good response for the track
