  1. i agree with what your saying but i also think the engine helps a lot as well... figure on that car running high octane petrol and shit loads of timing for very good response and top end power
  2. gcg high flow looking at 5000rpm before you 5000rpm... laggy buggers as said rb25 turbo will get you full boost around 3500 and around 200rwkw on 15psi hks 2530 will get 200-230rwkw on 15-20psi with similar response dont go a 2535, they dont seem to suit a rb20
  3. well its actually black and has blue flake plus he was using rb20afm's so a venting bov would play around with his idle was engineered around a problem to find a solution... it can be done and works, but a lot easier and better solution would be a type-r
  4. trust type r as mentioned best way to go!!! paul and jonn are right about standard gtr they are great, but its a high mount fellas... gtr bov's dont like not being plumbed back they open and shut all the time
  5. yeah should not hurt the engine if tuned properly, just make the under load tune at top end less dynamic
  6. gas in gtr will be fun... fill up your tank every 100-150kms ive got better things to do than spend my life at petrol stations
  7. coils will be f**ked, hate water get some splitfires
  8. haha sorry nick, i was going to mention yours but i dont know the diff ratios compared to road speed of r31 so its hard to compare with r32 gtr's give me some rpm to road speed ratios
  9. yeah ive been waiting for those "gt-zz" for ages i really want a no bullshit comparison between hks t04z and garrett t04z i dont think there would be a bees dick in it, apart from price
  10. to be honest. i dont think that anyone has a well setup gt30 gt35 framed rb26 on here... but considering the bigger garrett singles are only a bees dick away in terms of response then i can only see it being a matter of time before someone gets it right and you see how responsive they can be ps. we are lucky over here in wa, dont have epa... saying all this i love low mounts, i just think a well set up high mount, or twins can always be better
  11. ps. my t04z rated at 800hp is making 200rwkw at 4250rpm and has the potential to make at least a extra 100-150rwhp more than the twins your talking about... 250rpm for over 100hp, ill take that thank you
  12. dont worry brockas he loves comparing apples to ballbearings to support his twins fantasy
  13. what size jets does it come with... may be interested
  14. r35 gtr's are super gay they make me wanna slit wrists, why mod a car nodays when your going to get smoked by a stocker
  15. my manifold came out at a 90deg angle to the flow, split pulse 90 degree t4 flange... i can run the lowest of 15psi on a tial 44mm and it creeps to 18psi, holds flat if boost controller is set to that and i dont mind because the motor can take it but if i wanted to run less boost i would have problems another t3 flanged manifold we ordered you are correct it did come at a angle but we wanted to run a 60mm gate so we welded on a bigger pipe at the same angle as the original and works very well. it must have been a 54mm not 50mm my appologies, we have ordered the most recent one with no gate pipe at all. can you possibly make a option for people to have the bigger pipe when ordering?!? as i said they are great manifolds and i recommend them to everyone, just trying to give you some feedback on my experiences
  16. comparing the response of a rb26 to a rb25 is about the same as a rb25 to a rb20
  17. they will be fine for that power, i have standard coils running 430rwkw and they are fine... but they are very old and starting to degrade, its not the performance of the coils, its the wear and tear yes i did own a black 32 back in the day, why is this?!?
  18. no offence to you kyle, have one of your manifolds and love it, works a treat (after some mods)... but every one of your manifolds that i have dealt with have boost creep problems and there have been several, this is not a one off problem seems to be a combination of manifolds being so efficient at the collector, 90 degree angle of the gate pipe off the collector and size of pipe used for this pipe. its a simple fix. it seems unreasonable that the pipe used to connect the gate by you is usually much smaller than the size of gates people use, you should look at putting a larger 50mm pipe on a upwards angle, going slightly with the flow (not 90 degrees to the direction of flow). on topic now: yes gate placement is stupid in this case and making the problem very bad, as kyle said mount the gate close to the manifold not down low...
  19. but on the other hand if u sell the power fc and use the cash to buy some splitfires, you wont get super agro when trying to tune power fc only to have your spark blown out because of shitty stock coil packs plus u will have some cash left over to replace the gtr fuel pump with a bosch one when it shits itself
  20. i would be tipping 335rwkw with that turbo with response that would shit all over gt-ss proper set up high mounts are sooo much better/responsive than low mounts
  21. considering i had exactly the same setup as this, except a gtr bov and a bleed tap (which is better than a e-boost anyways haha) and had both a remap and power fc in my car.... i would go the remap and with the money you save get yourself a set a spiltfire coils as you will need them
  22. holy retard batman.... lets compare a auto to a manual on a dyno graph!!! STOOOPID this thread makes me angry because u are trying to brag when u clearly have no idea
  23. bee-r limiters dont kill motors, the idiots sitting on limiter do... if used in moderation they are fine, but excess use will hurt your motor. but then again excess use of any limiter at high revs will damage a motor
  24. ill take some pics this weekend, but kinda looks like a bare nissan block
