  1. there is no point going that large turbo on a stock motor as it go boom very quickly
  2. big turbos give better fuel economy for everyday driving
  3. power per litre stock motor, rb20 would just be about the strongest and most fun rb to drive... stockish rb25's are fairly boring but decently quick rb20 parts are easy to get
  4. i would say 115-120 degrees its a warning, so its not really that important

  7. all the same tuner and computer the twin t04z's are on a 2.8 i should mention
  8. or by this you can see that twin hks t04z with 0.63 a/r rear housings are almost as responsive as a gt42 with 1.06 a/r. added a garret t04z with.8 a/r as well for comparison gt42 is running only 20psi t04z are about 24psi twin t04z's are about 28psi
  9. what power is it making on that boost? 450rwhp is generally the safe limit of a rb26 and id imagine you would be making more than that with those turbos on that boost

  12. dyno results would be a bit more accurate but sounds promising pitty we dont get anything other that u98 in perth
  13. sards 550cc injectors are also red collars, as im sure others do as well but i would imagine they are stock but
  14. virtually all rx6 twin kits for a gtr would be classified as a drag spec turbo... unless you feel the urge to spend up huge amounts of dollars engineering the car around the turbos i would say it would be best to bite the bullet and start over again even on only 1.1 to 1.3 bar i dont like the chances of ur engine lasting very long no matter what you rev it 2
  15. actually u can see what i mean at the very top end of the graph... the split dump curve falls over well before the other 2, this may be exagerated with more mods and power
  16. have u got a photo of the 3 inch dump? this may be true for small power ups but when the flow is really maximised i would imagine that a 3" would make more power as the lack of total flow of the split dump would create a resitriction
  17. the turbos are mismatched to the motor those snails are really designed for a fully built motor as NXTIME said, when do u get say 1 bar of boost, what version rx6 are they?

  20. Seems there is a topic for RB25's and RB26's now and many people are upgrading their RB20 turbos I think it is time we need one for the baby motor. Please list, -Internals (Pistons, Cams and Gears, Rods etc) -Engine Management -AFM or MAP -Injectors -Cooler, Filter, Zaust, Gate etc etc -Boost -Turbo -Fuel AND OF COURSE YOUR DYNO GRAPH!
  21. seen a v-mount in a r32 with a sr downgrade dont think u would have the room with the extra 2 cylnders, its not really worth the engineering anyways
  22. apexi are good but have to be replaced all the time i had a apexi when my car came from japan, i got rid of it for a k&n simply cause they are very similar in performance but k&n can be kept forever while apexi have to be replaced
  23. 2510 or if u want a little bit more power 2530 i wouldnt go rb25 or vg30 snail as they are probably worse response with less power
