  1. Why wouldn't you use a stock motor if that's what you were after?
  2. I tossed up both those other turbos but landed on the 6262 because it came with a T4 divided rear housing. I think all 3 would produce a very nice result. After the weekend I would say the 6262 is better than a T04Z
  3. Moved around plenty top end, saying it was sketchy is probably an understatement. Torque steered pretty bad in the first 3 gears as well. I've got lateral g-force logs for the run and they jump all over the place Yes, happy with the 6262. Very good turbo, not the be all and end all that some people would have you believe but probably the pick of the bunch for the application.
  4. A few videos from the 800m rolling start runs Gav in his 2.8l twin GTX low mount GTR with N2O XR6 Turbo that runs 11.9 at 120mph
  5. Did you video race vs my GTR?
  6. Swapped out the fuel pump for a Magnafuel Protuner 625 and retuned the car at 24psi across the rev range. Was done on a dyno dynamics dyno and wheelspun every run at around 550-560hp so couldn't get an accurate power reading. Took it to the Antilag racewars on the weekend and belted it hard all Saturday and Sunday doing, 400m rolling starts, 1/4 mile standing starts, 800m rolling starts and a 0-1000m standing start. I'll put up other videos and pics now but here is the full monty run.
  7. Response wise the 6262 really impressed me over the weekend. Did lots of roll ons from 60km/hr (just under 4000rpm in 2nd gear) and every time it was cracking gate almost instantly on 100% throttle application. Check out this run with an XR6 Turbo that runs a 11.9 at 120mph at the drags. I hit the throttle at the big bollards and it is straight on gate (24psi)
  8. rrob on here. Does a lot of work and helps me out heaps on my car! Weighs about 300kg less than my GTR and has 600hp at the hubs. Very fast car in a straight line and even faster around a track
  9. What did you end up doing? I think I raced you at one stage, you had the gopro on brake light? Should have been on the front of the car
  10. For some reason the forum is having an epic fail... Full kilometer run was 19.8 at 271.63km/hr 1/4 mile from that run was 11.0 at 135mph
  11. Just pulled stats from my 0-1000m run of the GPS logger 0-100km/hr 3.3sec 1/4 mile 11.0 @ 135mph 0-1000 19.8 @ 271.63km/hr
  12. For some reason I can't edit that post. That's my full interior R32 GTR with stock bottom end, 6262 on 24psi and E85
  13. I really should have got a graph No idea sorry, let's call it "ample" haha
  14. No point, looked stupid... Just ramps up and then a flat squiggily line to limiter
  15. No access to 20 fat kids so it'll have to do. The power was almost ramping vertically when it started spinning and then hovered around 550awhp from 5500-8500. Yeah 6262 T4 divided 0.8 rear
  16. Well that was a bit of a fail, there is an issue with the dyno and even with 4wd set to 50/50 torque split the thing was doing burnouts as soon as it came on boost... Ended up going 560hp but started spinning at 550hp and pretty much flat lined from there. Would have been well over 600awhp on 24psi if it had traction
  17. There used to be a fairly well proven 7-8% difference between the hub dyno and a roller, we could repeat it every time. The hub dyno we use has now been updated with new software and corrections (the 600hp run was done with this) and they are meant to read similar now.
  18. Going on a roller (dyno dynamics) tomorrow... Ewwww I'll try and get a run on current tune with same fueling to see roller vs hubber before we play with boost
  19. I had a Walbro in the Green car, was perfect. The GTR had a surge tank and Bosch 044, it ran out of flow so I needed to go either twin 044's or a big single pump, hense the Magnafuel getting the tick.
  20. Walbro 355L/hr at 70psi and the Magnafuel Protuner 625 402L/hr Walbro is so much better... Smaller, lighter, quieter and cheaper but can't be used externally so I had to look at other options. Fired up the Magnafuel tonight, it's pretty loud (would be louder than a pair of 044s) but it should do the business
  21. I would be guessing 210-220km/hr trap speed
  22. LOL didn't you trap 1/4 mile at mid 100mph? You will be lucky to hit much over 200 let alone 300
