Is the turbo a 6768 not a 6867? Massive turbo for a 2.6L track car, keen to see the dyno graph

Something very wrong there... Seen similar things happen when people leave rags in cooler pipes! I would be looking for something else before blaming the turbo.

So a 3076R 0.63 which is smaller is EVERY way can be ok on a 30DET but this is too small...

Either the problems is the anti-surge cover or something else with the car...

Getting there slowly, managed to run the loom through the guard, ceramic coated dump and turbo are now on and freshly powdercoated cam covers (with baffles) now installed.

Spewing, tried some RPF1's last night and they don't clear the brakes... Back to the drawing board

If you are positive it's the turbo try going a normal non anti-surge front cover...

First, as other have said primary pipe 90deg to the gas flow is not ideal Secondly, looks like the primary pipe for the gate is smaller than the v-band and then the screamer pipe is smaller than the v-band? So while you have a 38mm gate, you are putting a restriction before and after the gate. I would start by getting a bigger primary pipe and screamer pipe to actually the same size (or slightly larger) than the v-band

470kw on a hub dyno with correction on would not normally equate to more power on a roller. 630hp at the hubs and 140+mph is impressive, I'm guessing flat shifting a dog box probably helps with 3-4mph

I had even typed a post about the eyebrow raising figures but thought I would give it a rest haha It would actually have higher mph than a GTR with the same power... You know, less weight

Rear Brakes have arrived, R34 GTR Brembos. They are a bit beaten up so I'm going to send them off to get painted (can't decide on either red to match the front or just black).

I just got a 6262CEA Ball Bearing from Real Street Performance in the USA. If you email them they will hook you up with a good price and sort quick postage. You should be seeing most of 20psi by 3500rpm on a 2630 I would have thought! If you can wait a week or two I should have some results on my RB26 to give you some indication.

Worst pictures ever haha But I think it's a 10cm by the looks In that case I can almost guarantee you something is wrong with your set up and not the turbo... These things don't drop off at high revs, we went well past 8000rpm with mine and power was still going north. You are about 50rwkw down on where you should be... Got a graph?

That beemer forum that was linked last page Looks like they have changed the casting process now so he is actually right and the current ones are all going to have these new manky housings

Hi guys, Got a set of R34 GTR calipers that I was going to put on my new R32 GTR but ended up going bigger. They are in perfect working order but have been banged around a bit so the paint is a bit worse for wear. One of the calipers is also missing a clip as seen in photos (which I'm sure will be very cheap from Nissan). They come with genuine Brembo pads with plenty of meat left in them (see pictures). I was going to get them repainted so I have already purchased a set of new red Brembo decals with them and they will come with the brakes. $1000 Will ship anywhere in Australia at buyers expense. Didn't you just replace the alternator? Could the new one be playing up?

Got photos of the turbo and the power graph? Just FYI, the 10cm rear housings look very small (compared to a Garrett) the 8cm's look tiny, like stupidly small! You should be making a lot more power, I'm tipping that something else has gone wrong... What else was changed?

Well I do need a set of 17" wheels with good brake clearance for the track haha Apparently I'm banned from getting another set though, looking at a set of RPF1 17x9.5 +18 for now... Just need to check clearance first
