  1. Gate pipe is a foot too long (well a foot plus 50-100mm) As close to the manifold as possible is what's needed
  2. Nice result... Interesting that the little 20g doesn't really seem to be that much less laggy than the 25g! Roy - You should note this... The 25g might work well on the RB20
  3. OS Giken Triple plate
  4. The air flowing past the slot would create a vacuum in the slot and thus pull air out of the turbo blades...
  5. We got told just because there was a chicane doesn't mean it's a excuse to do burnouts, luckily for me I just put my foot down and it layed lines. Not my fault
  6. Yeah we were able to strech the bushes, it was actually easier than expected... No cutting the floor or anything serious. One part needed a gentle massage of a few mm with a hammer
  7. I'd probably say around 5000km's. They would be fairly hard km's as most would be at the track, drags, powercruise motorkhanas etc. I have a work car that I drive most of the time. I don't think that the cracks 'battery' has would cause the wheel to fail, they are not at a stress point (as far as I can tell). For all I know mine has been cracked the whole time as well
  8. No in car but might get a few from outside from other people... My Gopro didn't arrive in time I was running 235 front and 255 rear AD08's last night so hard to compare outright but I did a 58.3 which is only 0.3 sec slower than my best time on RE55S. I would have probably dropped another second off with a bit more track time (I did my fastest lap on the last lap of the night) so I would say it's definitely faster. R34 steering pump and S13 rack - Heaps better, steering is a lot lighter and doesn't "lock" up on sudden movements from left to right. The only issue with the install is you need to make custom lines up R33 front LCA's - Worked well, pumped the track a little but allowed the extra camber (ran 3 deg last night) and the front end felt a lot better. Will probably try 3.5 deg with r-comps. S15 subframe - Hard to compare because of the less grippy tyres but seems to be better. I was probably on the throttle a tad earlier. A better judge would probably be that on the way home I was able to nail third with no wheelspin where it used to head straight for limiter. Overall I think it was all worth while, car seems to behave a lot better... Last night I overheated the tyres on one lap and they got very slippery but was able to catch the car when I went over the limit a lot easier than before
  9. Did another track night last night and turbo still going strong, ran 1.4bar and 515hp all night and didn't miss a beat
  10. There is now a Walbro 416l/hr pump designed for E85, at 70psi fuel pressure it's big enough to feed 1000cc injectors...
  11. They capped the boost on the 3076R because it's a drift car and it was making plenty of power. I'm sure it had plenty of flow left in it
  12. I think mine made 475hp on gate pressure (1.1bar) so not too much shy of the 488hp that 3076R made on similar boost. I think the 3076R also had more boost in the mid range but tailed off top end! I'll try and get a print out of boost vs power for both the runs when I get a chance
  13. Correct, I think about 17psi vs 19psi...
  14. Nice power, it's funny that all RB20's seem to hit a wall around 300rwkw. Mine did the same as well, ramped really hard and then plateaus at around 300rwkw
  15. Replaced Nistune and Z32 AFM with Vipec and MAP sensor plus added some Tomei Poncams
  16. Yeah same cams.
  17. Same ramp rate. Probably different start RPM but if anything the standard cam curve should have an advantage. It's all fair and reasonable testing, we were all surprised how well it all worked. Boost was on heaps earlier so there was a fair bit more boost between 3000-3500rpm which helps make the extra grunt.
  18. Final balls and all tune Vipec Low vs High boost Vipec/Tomei Poncams vs Nistune/AFM T67-25g vs GT3076R (same mods, mine has a few psi more boost but the other runs full E85)
  19. 566hp at 1.7 bar (422kw) without correction 515hp at 1.3 bar (384kw) without correction So it made an extra 40hp and we didn't even push it as hard, comes on about 350rpm sooner as well. I'll post up graphs tomorrow at work also 590hp at 1.7 bar (440kw) with correction LOL
  20. Lies 600hp or bust! If it went another 10-20hp up top and 20-30 through midrange I'll be happy... Hoping that 20psi will be similar to my old high boost without cams. No valve springs, mine have been fine up till now. Compression tests are for nancies
  21. haha nice one ARTZ Tune tonight, two boost settings... One 20psi and one around 24-26psi Power guesses anyone?
