  1. Went and did some research at JPC last night... To anyone who needs or wants to know the information the S15 rear cradle is approx 6mm wider than the R32 one, so a total track addition on 6mm (3mm each side) which means I should still be able to fit 255's on the rear on a 9" rim without too much negative camber. So we are going to give the S15 subframe a go for better geometry in the rear. The bushes can apparently be stretched the extra 5mm or so needed rather than being replaced the ally mushrooms and then we will try and install the ally lock collars if they can be persuaded to fit. Also going to install R33 LCA's at the front so I can increase the camber (will also mirror the track change at the rear). Vipec started last night and getting ready for cams to be installed! Lots of other work and should (fingers crossed) be back ready in a month
  2. I found a good test on a comparison of a 3076R, 3582R, HTA 3076R, HTA 3582R and a PTE 5858 last night and bookmarked the link at home, just did a quick google and couldn't find it again but I'll post tonight if I remember... The general gist was the HTA made tiny bit more power top end and a decent amount better response
  3. Impressive, I would be keen to see some plots on 20-25psi!
  4. Sorry, I wasn't being derogatory by using the term bastarised! I just meant any non-Garrett billet version, no doubt there are some great ones around... In saying that my set up isn't the best money can buy, clearly you can do better, but I would probably say it's the best cheap money can buy haha On a roller I would say you may struggle to hit 370rwkw on a 3076R, all the ones we do on the hubber seem to make around 370rwkw when pushed but you will loose another 7-8% jumping onto a roller
  5. I run a standard RB25 with the Kinugawa T67-25g 10cm that make 360rwkw and does regular track work and it fits all your criteria. 20psi well before 4000rpm, near enough to the power you're asking and it's cheap $750 delivered plus a $1200 decent manifold. Your other options are a GT3076R which will be a tiny bit better spool and a tiny bit less top end for an extra $1000 or maybe a bastardised version of one for similar price.
  6. Vipec and mac valve arrived today, already got the expansion harness and air temp sensor on the weekend... Just have to wait for Tomei Poncams to arrive tomorrow and then let the fun and games begin
  7. Just posted in "Got Over 400kw Atw?" el o el
  8. I was thinking it would be a good idea for you to get a tune without cams and just billet wheel... Then we can compare mine with cams vs without and yours with billet and without
  9. Hey f**k you... Tune your billet wheel first haha Probably a month if I'm honest, Sean at Allstar is away for about 3 weeks... Might be able to borrow the dyno before then though but I've got a fair bit of work to do to the car as well...
  10. Don't be shy, post the graph! Was it on ethanol?
  11. New GTR bonnet and grill is on, Bride seats are in and have a new set of freshly powdercoated Buddy Club P1's with AD08 tyres all round. Poncams have been ordered and Vipec soon to come
  12. My rear housing is v-band to the centre cartridge while yours is bolted.... I think that is the difference! Looks like that is the difference between 8cm and 10cm by browsing ebay. What did you order? Looks like you're almost ready for a tune?
  13. Where did you get it from? I've been looking but can't find one jew cheap
  14. Yeah will be tuned at ASG
  15. I have trackaroo that tracks speed via gps but I find that the 1hz GPS updating of the phone is a bit of a fail so even if there was a difference you wouldn't be able to tell... Regardless I doubt seat of pants feel will change much, it'll go from shitting yourself to still shitting yourself haha I'll try and get back down the 1/4 for the black top dyno run but I have faith the hubber should show the differences. There is nothing at all wrong with the Nistune, it's more getting itchy feet. I would prefer the AFM gone as it's the last link in the blown cooler pipe chain saga. The addition of heaps more funcitons (proper VCT control, boost control and many other functions) is what tipped it over the edge. But mainly just ditching the AFM I would love to give the bigger turbine wheel a go... The reason I gave up on the idea is because I knew that even if the result was better, I would still have to change back to the original turbo and just way too much effort (I'm lazy)
  16. I'm waiting on battery to see how he goes with the billet love... but it may be an option down the road!
  17. haha I doubt it, Maybe 20-25rwkw not 40
  18. R33 RB25 only come in 256 8.5mm, I think you will find the 260 9.15mm are for the NEO solid lifter head. I currently have an exhaust cam gear retarded 4deg, I'm under the assumption that with poncams 0 on both sides is the best so will most likely set and forget. We have the before runs because nothing has really changed since the last tune, unfortunately it wont be a direct comparison because I'm also going from Nistune to Vipec (AFM to MAP) at the same time. Hoping for a extra power everywhere above 4000rpm and maybe a tad extra down low
  19. So I was on ebay and had a weak moment... ...Poncams should arrive later this week
  20. That's not really too bad at all, you could have been a lot worse off! Don't change anything else... I'm keen to see a direct comparison between the wheels to see if I order one haha
  21. Dynapac vs Dyno Dynamics It's seems to be in line with all my experiences between the two
  22. I've been using Castrol Edge 10w60 with Ethanol for over a year now, oil comes out fine every time it's dumped with no issues. My motor probably gets leant on a lot harder than most
  23. That graph with cams? I got sent a graph of a GT3076R with poncams on RB25 with E85 last week and it was very impressive. Impressive enough for me to want cams or a GT3076R haha
