  1. What?!? I and various other people use them and they work perfectly!
  2. So much hate, but probably true
  3. NYTSKY on here hooked me up... I'm sure he will do the same for you if you ask nicely
  4. Circlip pliers and about 3 and a half seconds
  5. They have too much flex so it's so much easier for them to pop off. I've also had then weaken due to heat and split
  6. Might be worth welding on 90 ally bends to the outlets gav, I'm having constant issues with the flex from 90deg silicon bends
  7. I got mine off ebay cause I'm a cheap ass! http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/2-5-Inch-Cast-Aluminum-Elbow-90-Degree-Pipe-Turbo-Downpipe-Sharp-Bend-/250918942564?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3a6bef3764
  8. Speaking of build quality, I thought I would post some pictures of my turbo because I have just pulled the front cover off! This is after half a dozen track days, 3 times on the dyno, a trip to the drags, powercruise, a few motorkhanas and about a year of light driving Front Cover Outside Front Cover Inside Compressor Wheel Reason why the front cover is off (Welding on an elbow)
  9. I wouldn't worry about that "imperfection" too much... It's not going to make any difference, but if you are worried just rub it down a little with a small file. The housings also look tiny compared with a Garrett, it's just because they are skinny
  10. They only annoy me because I used to have it and now I don't haha
  11. Strong ones for cams I've done some modifications to the rear end now and it grips a lot better, might go ET streets as well this year!
  12. Gav has too much cash! Time for some cams and springs for a bit more power for me then to keep up Gav
  13. I believe that joey was running 320rwkw with Nismo 550's on E85 with his 2835pros Even if they don't cut it, run as much boost as you can to get to about 95% duty cycle
  14. Ah that sucks! Although that is a really cheap deal for a bolt on tubo kit, actually it's a steal
  15. My silicon bend off the compressor housing sits close to the exhaust manifold and gets a bit warm. It ended up bursting at power cruise and then since then the new one blows off and f**ks around all the time. It was really a bit of a slap job to begin with. I'm now welding an ally elbow to the compressor housing and redoing some of the hot side piping
  16. None at all so far... Touch wood. The only real issue I have is with cooler pipes but I'm sorting that hopefully now
  17. Win with a 5 speed, loose with a 2 speed But that's only because I think drags are boring
  18. That's the email I used. He was pretty quick to reply when I emailed him so maybe send again? He also might be on holidays
  19. Pulled the car off the road for a little while to do some little things like new seats Fixed back drivers and Recliner passenger
  20. No to cams, don't bother! E85 is heaps better than 98, but you will be out of injectors and fuel pump pretty quickly
  21. He hooked up the TRC switch and used Areldite to glue it open at 3V
  22. battery had a decent result as well
  23. If you guys have a Android phone and are after a fairly accurate and cheap way of measuring lap times then download the app called "Trackmaster" It's really useful, can add in sector times etc and export all the data to excel for graphing and comparisons. I found it to be within 0.1sec of official lap times even using the internal 1hz GPS of my Samsung mobile. As others have said 1hz GPS updating does suck a bit, I'm looking for a cheap bluetooth GPS at 5hz but they all seem to be a few hundred each?!? So I'm very happy with my well spent $10 so far
  24. Why don't you just take brad's advice on how to fix it?
  25. Your Hypergear doesn't...
