  1. Yeah I'm keen to grab mine ASAP please Let me know what they say about the refund!
  2. NEO's have a touch higher compression and better flowing cams/head which might be a better explanation for less boost, less timing and more power
  3. Not have a shot at you Phil but I'm starting to loose patience with these guys. It's already been a 2 months and they still have not sent it out, now they are saying another 4-6 weeks, which going on their previous time frames could easily blow out to 6 months +. I would rather just get the kit here and on my car rather than waiting for the black fittings. Maybe they can refund the difference in cost for the cheaper fittings?
  4. What's the plan to alter the mixture of E85 if it is found to be varied from the original tune state? Add denatured Ethanol and/or BP98?
  5. Was everything else the same (eg: compression ratio) and same dyno? I would expect that a tight new motor would make a bit more power than a high km stocker Keen to see your new graph, always been impressed with your set up!
  6. 6boost now angles the gate hole on manifolds with the direction of flow as standard and plus a slightly bigger pipe and I think that sorts all the issues that we used to come across
  7. I ran a 44mm on the gtr with 6boost and it was a tad on the small size but was still holding 18psi flat. New car runs a tial 44mm mvr and will hold 14psi dead flat. We did use a 60mm tial on brads 34 but that is overkill and sounds gay :-) 50mm would probably be one oversize but work well. I just love these tial 44mm mvr, so small, cheap and work perfect
  8. sorry that was a typo, was meant to say 3540 not 3040. If you look he posted 3540 :-)
  9. Using the same dyno/correction they use on the said SA dyno my car went 410kw at the hubs. On the same tank of fuel it went 360rwkw on a dyno dynamics roller! Take from that what you want Also my car has been going fairly well with the 360rwkw for about 6 months now, including a run down the drags and at the track for time attack, I wouldn't recommend this much power to everyone though haha
  10. 3582R is a 3040R same same... They are dogs of turbos on RB25's! For instance a high mount kit like mine makes a lot more power than your suggestions, for a lot cheaper and with a lot better response Plus runs 1.8sec and 17mph faster than you mates lighter VL haha 300rwhp is around 116mph in a VL
  11. Tial 44mm MVR gate will be perfect and for under $400 delivered off ebay you can not go wrong Running without a EBC is like trying to run with one hand tied behind your back, yes you can do it but you won't get the best result!
  12. Yeah usually that are fairly cruisy, as per my avatar but they don't like it when I do my 360 spins through the centre cones! Always get a warning for that at the end of the day
  13. haha, had me wound up there for a second
  14. What about my R33 RB25 (with a dead stock motor, stock cams etc)???
  15. No doubt they are a better design than a R33 RB25 head. They have solid lifters and better cams etc What I said was the differences do not make a huge difference in terms of relative performance at this kind of power level!
  16. Another update, have not driven the old girl for a fair while now because I decided to get some decent coilovers to replace the mismatched pairs... Was going to get a set of BCs but ended up with a Set of Greddy Type S. They are a lot better than the old set as they are base adjustable, damper adjustable and also have tapered rear springs! Busy setting the ride heights at the moment (did rears last night) and have had a few quick test drives on them and they feel and handle a lot better so I'm very happy Also tried to install the JJR castor rod brace but it fouls on the front standard swaybar. I'm assuming it's because of the amount of front castor and camber I run, has anyone else had this issue before?
  17. 1/4 past f**k all difference between a R33 RB25 and NEO in real life performace when they are tuned to this kind of power... GT Garrett's are also not the be all and end all of turbos, my cheapy Kinugawa turbo does the job just as well as a 3076R I think you will find that the difference would be outright power (as you have suggested 400rwkw is not 250rwkw) and also weight will have a huge factor. A stripped S14 compared to a street R33 would be about 400kg difference at a guess and that is MASSIVE
  18. 32 is looking so clean and mint! Kudos
  19. Wow, new turbo sh1ts on the old one! I had a quick look but gave up searching, what turbo was the old one?
  20. Why the bigger rear wheel? Just produce lots more lag and a tiny bit more top end?
  21. As people have said, TD06SL2 refers to the ass end of the turbo and 25g refers to the compressor wheel... A "T67" refers to a TD06SL2 25g
  22. No doubt they can run quick times for practically no cost, my old RB20 would have gone well into the 120mph's if I had bothered to take it down to the drags
  23. Put your hand out the window at 200kmhr and then tell me it makes f**k all difference :-)
  24. 130mph is fairly fast for the top of 3rd gear with 4.11 ratios (unless you have some funky long 3rd gear ratio in the box or revving motor fairly hard) I have the same diff ratio, revving to 8100rpm and was in 4th for a fair while and ran 132.5mph Also with a 1.5 60ft and 130mph you should be looking at least a 10.5 or quicker (something doesn't add up at all)
