  1. 6boost T3 high mount manifold. Full boost (1.6bar) on the dyno just before 4500rpm and on the road in 4th gear before 4000rpm. No boost plot from that run but similar run seen below
  2. Nah he has a "hero" tune haha It made 500hp on the same dyno as mine made 520hp It's not a fair comparison, mainly due to weight... But it is the best I have to go on (same fuel, same tuner, similar boost and similar mods apart from turbo) 100% has standard cams. They were checked when the motor was installed, look at graph below for example of gaining power till 8100rpm (power figure is inflated by correction method, makes 520hp without it)
  3. IMO it looks horrible!
  4. Yeah same hub dyno (it's his dyno haha) Will definitely get a comparo graph when it's finished, mind you his will probably be running stupid massive boost so might be hard to compare. Tell the owner my car which doesn't have cams ran 11.0 @ 132.5mph, while my mates has Tomei poncams with GT3076R and ran 11.5 @ 127mph (Mind you his is a R34 so a bit heavier)
  5. I don't think it would be the same housing, the appear to machine in house so it wouldn't be hard to reprofile... Also note the way that the rear housing connects to the CHRA is different, the T67 has a v-band where the Garrett is 6 bolt. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Turbine-Housing-Kinugawa-GT30R-GT3037-GT3037S-AR73-10cm-/290552643226?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item43a6497e9a#ht_2116wt_1139 EDIT: They have also profiled it for a GT35R wheel by the looks so I'll take your $10
  6. I would keep my $500 and T67 Tiny bit more lag for lots better top end wins for me! Still would be interesting to see how it was response wise, probably a better than mine and maybe a genuine Garrett 0.84 rear one Was talking to the guy who tunes my car the other day (Sean from Allstar) and he is going a very similar set up to mine but has a 3076R lying around that he is going to use, he mentioned that no matter what mods they have done he has never seen a 3076R turbo set up can hold and keep raising power till at least 8100rpm like mine. He is going to try by running silly boost on his car to try and make more power than mine, good luck I say
  7. Ok, this one has left me a little bit lost... It appears to be a genuine Garrett 3037 which is the same as a 3076R(?!?) with a Kando 10cm rear housing... So right in between a 0.63 response and 0.84 power? AND it's bloody cheap for what it is... Who is game? http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Turbocharger-Garrett-GT30R-GT3037-AR60-AR73-V-Band-/270730059235?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3f08c4dde3#ht_1991wt_1139
  8. x2 and yes by the looks of it
  9. After taking mine to the track I can honestly say that it's not going to be too laggy! Also worth noting that the TD06SL2 has oil/water lines but T67 only has oil
  10. Some pics from the time attack night Just purchased myself front lower castor rod brace and going to get some front fender braces soon as well just to stiffen the old girl up a little more before I head back on track. Also have a Hel's oil cooler kit with thermostat on its way to keep the oil temps in check when thrashing,
  11. I've done #1 in my old GTR
  12. Chuck some pics up if you get a chance ... When is it booked in for a tune?!?
  13. You seem to have blind faith in johns ability to engineer the car, it's almost religious... You keep comparing to f1, rally and indy car racing with their research and development, with the costs and success that come from it. But realistically you are carrying out research and manufacture. You come up with a idea, think it's the best, tell everyone it's the best without even testing it. The reason why the motorsport teams get things so right is because they get so many things wrong and then head back to the drawing board, I just hope for your sake you spent all this money on something that works first time!
  14. Figured as much, just makes it a bitch to shoehorn a RB back into its place... I love R32's in white, they look so clean! Not the keenest on the front bar, but a GTR stocker could fix that
  15. My T67-25g is still going strong after a night out at the track! Was only running 7000rpm and 1.4bar of boost for longevity of the motor but it still makes about 355kw at the hubs or 330rwkw on a roller... Here is a little video, I'm obviously the 2nd car that comes on the main straight. If you listen to the engine note as soon as I hit the throttle 100% it is on gate Also worth noting that is has so much power everywhere I could probably use a higher gear on most corners and still be very fast. For anyone interested I did a 58.0 at Barbargello short track and won the class for RWD street for the night
  16. Do you have to go with a left hand drive over there?
  17. Timing wise will not be a issue at all, we have a lot of RB's over here running only E43 and they won't ping regardless of timing and that is running decent boost (up to 2bar) AFR's could be a little bit of a issue, but as others have said if you have E70 tune a little rich or if tuning with E90 tune a little leaner if you are intending on swapping between
  18. Small video of me heading down the main straight!
  19. Yeah so I have heard, I didn't get a chance to look back to see how much there was! I only touched the brake and then jumped off straight away because I knew it had locked... But I suppose going at 200+ you are covering ground fairly fast
  20. Finally got down the track last night and managed a 58.0 at Barbagallo short track which isn't too shabby, also picked up the trophy for fastest RWD on the night Only revving it to 7000rpm and using 1.4bar on the track and everything held up mint with no issues at all! Managed to lock up the front left and flat spot the tyre being way too eager on the brakes into the first corner early in the night and was going 0.5sec faster on every session so there is a lot more time to take out of that in the future. I used some Dunlop D02G 225/45/17 that were second hand and on the tread wear limit, I'll have another go on them next time and rotate the flat spot to the rear before I bring out some 235 RE55S and see what I can do. I think I should be able to run a 56 with the Dunlops and try for a 55 on the Bridgestones in the future
  21. Big flatspot on the front left, all good apart from that haha Went in a little hot for the cold tyres
  22. Keen for a race
  23. ho·mol·o·gat·ed haha
  24. Interesting choice in rear housing... One of the guys over here in WA had a ATP twin scroll rear for his GT35R but it had dags all through the casting and lots of different defects (may have been a one off but would be advisable to check) What was the reasoning behind the 1.0 twin scroll rather than a 0.8 single scroll?
