  1. Actually ended up going 517rwhp (386rwkw) without correction... So that is a 127hp more than the RB20, plus it's 700rpm quicker to come on boost and nearly doubles torque between 3000rpm-5000rpm Does nothing but burnouts in pretty much all gears
  2. Don't you like my reasoning haha Roy I love my RB20's and always will, but times are changing and I just couldn't see a way to keep up with the Jones without going more capacity Got some results via text message, made another 100hp will post graphs soon
  3. Oil feed is good (you need a fitting to go into the block), oil drain was a tad short so we are replacing with a braided line (better to be safe with heat + oil = fire) I'm crossing fingers for results tonight... All we have to do is the oil drain, dump pipe and gate screamer pipe!
  4. We get it pretty easy over here in WA (we had IM240 testing booted by the motor trade association) so I can't really comment BUT: Is it really that hard to swap from a high mount back to a low mount... I mean really should only take a few hours each time, I know it's a pain in the arse but when is getting defected ever not?
  5. Gran Turismo, DUH
  6. LOL my bad...
  7. Why limit yourself T62R is the new black
  8. Exactly what my plan was until the turbo arrived... The front compressor housing is big (like a Garrett 0.7) and it was going to need like a 30mm spacer! In the end I figured getting a spacer, another gasket, the exhaust housing welded etc was all going to be a headf**k (and decent cost) so I just ended up going a 6boost. Plus as you said the standard manifold was probably going to be a restriction at the power I'm trying to make. The TD06L2 10cm also seems like a good option, I think the only difference being it is water cooled as well. Plus I have read that the 20g front wheel really runs out of puff at about 270rwkw PS. Shouldn't have to wait long, car is going to be on the dyno this week (fingers crossed maybe even tonight) T67-25g 10cm Photos Tial 44mm Gate 6boost Manifold Looks pretty good
  9. That is pretty average workmanship... PS. Why didn't you just go get a undetonated CA head, someone would have probably paid you to take it away!
  10. So after stripping 3rd gear I got a little miffed that I had to punch gears so hard just to keep the little 20 in the power band... I hatched a plan to chuck a RB25 in the old girl and keep most of the same supporting mods That didn't go to plan because I was thinking about everything too much so I have ended up with this plan Nistune RB20 ECU and loom Greddy MSS for switching VCT Yellow Jacket Coils 740cc top feed Deatschwerks Injectors Ally fuel rail Bosch 044 in tank Z32 AFM in cooler piping VH45 Throttle Body Freddy Inlet Plenum 6boost manifold Kinugawa (Kando Dynamics) T67 10cm T3 Rear Tial 44mm MVR Wastegate Stock RB25 motor Adjustable exhaust cam gear Greddy Profec B Spec II Getting started, RB20 out and RB25 in the hole
  11. He said he already has it...
  12. Should be good for about 335rwkw on BP98 and over 370rwkw on E85 with good response... So I would say yes
  13. I think that a GTX3071R on standard manifold with a 0.63 rear with external gate welded to turbine housing would be a good idea... I was going to do the same with my new T67 but the compressor cover was really large and would have required a huge spacer so I just bit the bullet and went a 6boost
  14. Just FYI, don't get a GTR one it's a tad too short Use R33 RB25DET one and cut about 3/4 of a inch off the end!
  15. Use the genuine, they are a lot better Why is the manifold off if you don't mind me asking?
  16. Very good point... OEM are great but when they are 10-20 years old they need replacing! I was unaware you could get them that cheap now days, last time I looked they were about $200 each
  17. I think that the 0.7ish rear end is the key to a mint turbo on a RB25... That's why you get awesome results from the 0.68 rear HKS housings and the 10cm (0.73) rear Mitsubishi housings They blend the response of the 0.6's with the top end of 0.8's
  18. Ever considered going a single... Instantly get's rid of these problems! New GTX3076R comes to mind
  19. Took the old girl to Powercruise over here in Perth and had a awesome weekend... Even managed to knock of my mates R33 GTR with 580rwhp (430rwkw) ...and on the last lap of the weekend did this to 3rd gear in my RB25 box
  20. Send a SMS to brad on 0422151003 He has one that he might let go for the right price
  21. I was under the impression that these brakes were designed for drag cars and not circuit use?!?
  22. How is gaining up to 50hp through the midrange and maybe losing 5-10hp top end a fault?
