  1. Thanks Mick, Have you tried putting the fuse back in and if so does the Hicas return to normal or does it have to be reset in some way? Also I know the Hicas light on the dash comes on without the fuse (which is no big deal) but does it go off again once the fuse has been installed?
  2. Thanks for the info, really appreciate it. However, was the set-up available off the shelf or did they have to order the parts in for you? By the way how does it go now with the lightened fly wheel??
  3. Hi everyone, The clutch in my R33 has started to slip. I am now in search of a new kit. Can anyone recommend a particular brand they have used and where they purchased it from, price etc. I am also interested in a lightened flywheel, has anyone had any experience with flywheels. Thanks in advance.
  4. Hi All, Does anyone know if removing the fuse for the Hicas steering will help solve the Hicas problem on an R33. I know you can install lock kits and so on, but just woundering how a simple removal of the fuse will work? Also where is the fuse found for Hicas on the R33's?
  5. I have had this same problem and believe me it has sent me nuts in trying to work it out. After speaking to a number of mechanics I was told that it is simply my rear brakes pads not sitting in the caliper properly. Usually happens with after market pads. The best solution I found if using the existing brakes is to remove and clean your pads and any gunk around the piston area and before refitting them place some disc brake pad adhesive (known as Disc brake quiet from Repco) on the backing plate of the pad and piston area. This will dry and keep the pad from moving around. Alternatively you could always fit some genuine pads and that will solve the problem. At the end of the day its not a serious problem but very annoying.
