What if the over flow bottle has a crack, say a small crack in it? Second last resort is really take my radiator out for a really good clean and last resort is seriously i dont want to do which pull the water pump out which i only had it replace by ICE only two months ago. Chance is very rare that too much silicon was used and cos' blockage.

I have the same problem too except my thermalstat didn't fcuk up, me and Troy (YLWGTR) change a new thermalstat this morning, we gave it a pressure test and by now we've at least flush the radiator around 3 times now and it still heat up. On the way back from Troy place i stop by at a radiator place, ask them to clean my radiator out, the guy reckon my radiator cap screw up, gave me a new one. That help for a bit that i thought we have eliminate the problem but no, the car still heat up but SLOWER, take a while to get hot up now ( the new cap must have help a bit ) but still !!!! The radiator place also reckon that i would need a new clutch fan cos ' when i was there, he tried to spin my fan ( car still hot ) and said it should not be spining cos' when car get to a certain temp the fan should lock up ( even when i've turned the inigtion off ?? ) but i did what WRXhoon said about test the fan see if it engage or not and mine did, it spin faster and make different sound... Chances is my Fan do engage but not a %100?

I was told by my ex mechanic that my hand controller doesn't work no more so i rang up an Apexi distrubitor just to find out that it cost around $500 for a new one so i go **** it, went and open my one up and saw a loose wire so i hook it back up and the thing WORK, i was so happy so now i really need the user manual to muck around with it.

Relax, if its' only the bulk then it should cost like about 1dollar or more but $400 is like the whole tail light unit itself. Just take the dead bulk to an automotive store and ask them.

Phews, thanks guys. Mine over heated once and its' cos' of the " sender " sit in the radiator screwed itself once, didn't trigger the thermal fan to work ( this was in a heavy traffic with dirty coolant and on a Melb HOT day, funny enough my old mechanic change my water pump and didn't give me new coolant not to consider a freaking flush ) so yeah. A new unit is on the way from Japan mean while i'm using one off YLWGTR ( Troy the man ). As for the oil pressure gauge, mine always sit low but for peace of mind i had it tested out with a Mechanical gauge and it read alright.

Sound exactly like mine, and it reach operating temp so fast that sometimes worry me. Thanks.

Hi all, this is to all the R32gtr owners, what does your watertemp gauge normally sit at? Is it 1/4, 1/2...on the gauge? Also how fast does the temp raise when cold start in the morning? Mine always sit at 1/2, is this sound alright or wrong? Thanks

Nah, its' not normal, its' LEAKING. What effects it will make? if its' in the rear, you can't take off properly, heaps of wheel spin...ect. Best to get it replace or upgrade because not only performance effect but when you loose the car, you won't be able to correct the car properly too.
