Idle : has always sit at 7000rpm Mods : Zorst all the way, Jap/chipped ECU, front mount, pod, boost controller, SAFC just recently installed by ICE. Car's normall driving is ok except when i stop at a traffic light idle drop from 5000rpm to almost 6000rpm . THis only happen when engine at normal operating temputure, cold start has never an issue. Thanks for trying to help STEVE but like i said it's not so bad but you know when you love somebody * it's kinda anoy when they behave differently

Got a custom made catch can for $50 ( bought off Boost for $100+ ) 33 stock cat back. ( offer ) 6 platium plugs . ( still good ) $20 R33GTR centre gauges ( carbo fibre ) $150 Laser Temp reading( brand new ) $250 and $50 can go toward the forum.

Car's idle drop from 5000rpm to 6000 at the light sometimes, anyone had this problems before? It's NOT so worse but my baby has never let me down or behave like this for the past 2years. There are a few things that i supspected : Pod is dirty. Crank angle plug is dirty. Oil got into spark plugs cos' when i change oil some drop on top of the engine and slip through ( Hardly cos' each spark coves has seal ) Throtle plug is dirty? Reasone for all the dirty dirty things here are i've never wash my engine. I always belive internal is everything ( thats why i always have the best oil/change on time ). Any suggestion please post. OK folks, it's a long story but being an R33 owner, i have always expect this day to come, the day when heaps of smoke come out of your exhaust, you know that finally the turbo has shit itself. This is how it started, lately i've had heaps of problem with my idle, kept on droping below 500rpm mark everytimes on neutral. Talk to ICE and Nigel reckons i need to block of the S hose that connect the plenium to the head ( reason is i had my catch can install by BMT and no vacum hose was block ), also another one need to block as well is the one that come down from the top of the head to the turbo ( i think ). Anyway, i did all that this morning, took it around the block, idle felt fine, i felt happy as well but this afternoon came home from Springvale as i got into the drive way, idle droped so bad that i could hardly hear my exhaust sound anymore. Jumped out, lift the bonnet up, smoke came out from the dump pipe area, not bad but notice able also heaps smoke came out at the rear too. Shit myself, i quickly switch inigtion off, check the oil and the oil was fine, no bubble. Check the water, plenty so i took the torch out take a closer look at the dump pipe ( forgot to say that its a 3' become 31/2 then 3' again before meeting the cat ) and found that smoke was coming out from a joint ( mandrel bend ) !!!! Weird? WELL it was the welding bit came off where two bend welded togher. So, it's really complicated. It could be the dump pipe or it could be the hose on top of the head that goes down toward the turbo where i blocked ( in order for the catch can to do it job ) could not deliver oil to the turbo therefor the turbo become hot and blew. Ofcourse i will need to take it to ICE but i'm not really wanting to go for another turbo on a Gts cos' i plan to go for GTR soon next year. Anyone gone through the same ordeal? Me now? Frustrate!

Will stay at Hotham for 4days early Aug, gonna have mad time boarding. Used to take my LINE to Buller ( if you love it, take it everywhere ) but with the button clutch in last year, don't think i'm able to throttle it probly anymore in the snow. Oh also the place i hired ( belong to my boss ) accomodate up to 10 and i've got 5 at the moment, anyone interested joining us? Things would be much cheaper. The house is on Dinner plan by the way. Also like usual i always have heaps of day trip ( one day ) to Buller as well through out the season so hope to catch some of ya up there .

You sold me two but none of them work, mine were GDH88 Panasonic. Got software and everything hook up on the comp everything work except for the phone and the cable don't comunicate.

So what do you guys say, we wait for Ash( 3 months ) or we'll just go one sat/sunday before hand ( since we've got 18 ppl interested ) ? I'll see what the weather forecast is gonna be like then hopefully we'll hit Heathcote very soon.

To those who have never run their car before, belive me there is nothing to be afraid of, clocking good or shit time is not a subject, it's all about the fun and the experience that you gonna get. To Jamez and Ash, Snowman....and other molderators of VIC section, if anyhow this Heathcote and poll thing is not appropriate for some reasones please delete my thread! Thank you.

I'm runing my car at Heathcote sometime soon, i was wondering if anyone would like to also run their car with me on the day. Arcording to HPI, Heathcote has a better track than Calder ( when HPI ran their R34 ) and it's a nice country drive as well. I still remember the first time that i ran my car with Nark and Josie, it was good fun apart from we didn' t get any of our pic taken by Fullboost ( it's me and Josie first time runing our car so we just like something to remember ) and also belive that you could have more runs at Hcote than Calder. Date? I havn't decided yet as this is only a poll to see how many are interested so if i have a strong turn out then me and those who are turning up will decide which day to run.

Hi all, I've got factory keyless entry on my car, a while ago i disable it by using some code in my manual. Now i want it back on but enable code doesn't show on my manual, anyone have any ideas or experience this before? Great appriciate. :headspin:

Got there pretty late, around 2pm. As i walk pass these huts where i change spark plugs after a run and stuffs, i walked pass the GTR, i proudly told my mate that this GTR is gonna make those LS1 boys have a second though about their car. Got to the stand, sat there watching these LS1 roaring pass ( most took their zorst off ), kept waiting to see the GTR but NO, so i decided to walk to there make myself look stupid and ask them if the GTR is gonna run today and i think it was Keir himself told us that the box has gone so i push the GTR into the container already. Oh well maybe next time, i'm keen skyline man LOL.

Bloody travel more than 2 hours just to see the GTR and turn out it blew the box. Not happy Jane !
