  2. I love this series. I dont seem to have the patience to go for the slient kills etc. I have been playing it "cleaner" style, they all die Adam
  3. I dont really understand the diagram, are attempting to achieve just removing the boost solenoid? Have you tried just unplugging it? I think it makes it so that you dont get that extra 2psi. The other method would be connecting the line coming off the wastegate actuator with the spot on the inlet piping and hence circumventing the solenoid. Adam
  4. I would be interested in another group buy, I am sick of the glass house look with my car hehe Adam
  5. Further info on this: http://news.com.au/common/story_page/0,405...55E1702,00.html Adam
  6. Driver skill is the key. Adam
  7. My thoughts are that the pipe itself is a restriction and hence creating vacuum. So I am guessing if you truely want minimal vacuum you would run no intake piping at all, just open air turbo. But we dont live in a perfect world. Adam
  8. Mine is run from the fuel pressure reg. There are a few places you could take the reading from. Maybe even where the stock boost gauge reads. Adam
  9. I have one I havent installed yet, i'll let a pro do it. But out of interest, how are they actually adjusted? Is it tighten the screw to increase or decrease? Thanks Adam
  10. Crooser, Check PM Adam
  11. Cooler, exhaust, pod, air box, bit of boost. usual stuff, makes around 190rwkw atm. Adam
  12. If you are from NZ there should be a lot of local knowledge about the Link ecu. Asked around skylinesdownunder? I have one in my car, seems to work well. I have only ever had the stock one and the link, so I cant really give comparitive info, apart from the fact it makes more power than the stock one hehe. Adam
  13. Hi Benm I have a standard turbo running 15 pound. I think it is out of its efficiency at that boost though. Drops back to 13.5ish high in the revs. Other than that I have a greddy cooler, pod, link ecu, and a 3inch exhaust. The car running next to me was an LS1 if anyone is interested. Adam
  14. My crappy times and slip. First time I had ever run, and was a little nervous of breaking something and having to get back to Melbourne from Heathcote. 2.61 60 ft 14.27 @ 104.97mph Wheel spin was a bit of an issue, need more practice really. :burnout: Hopefully get back out there soon and have another crack. Adam
  15. Do you have the GTR service manual? would that be similar or even the S13 one? The section which might help on the GTR manual is on page 517 of the pdf Adam P.S. There are many, getting studs "off" jokes, but I wont go there
  16. nothing to do with the electrical switch on the handbrake lever that lights the dash light when the handbrake is up? Adam
  17. I tested out my boost holding capabilities last night, it seems to hold 15 pound, but does drop off to 13.5psi or so somewhere high i the revs. It is hard to watch the boost gauge, tacho and the road at the same time hehe I will try and get the datalogging going and see if I can get a read out some time this week Adam
  18. I have an old coat hanger you can use. It is a little rusted. I will give it to you for $50.00 hehe, nah seriously i reckon you should see what autobarn have, but i am thinking most will come with the full assembly. Adam
  19. I have an adjustable aftermarket acuator (garret i think) that I had adapted for my car. It is currently set at 15psi and holds it perfectly, no need for any EBC or bleed valves. I got it for a mates rate $200 exchange. I think it holds 15psi to redline, I will check on the way home tonight Adam
  20. Another question, Are the Nismo pressure regs model specific? Or are they all the same for nissans? Thanks Adam
  21. I am going to take a stab and say it is owned by HKS Adam
  22. Have you looked in the back half of the booklet? Adam
  23. Has he thought to look into why it is going lean and rich? Might be a simple fix Adam
  24. Yeah, I had similar problem, it would show full until 350kms then drop to E by 400. Mate and I opened the tank and found the sender unit floating around in the tank. Reattach it in its position and it should be good again. Adam
  25. Hmm the Nismo one seems cheaper than most Malpassi ones i have seen. Sounds Good Thanks as usual Sydneykid Adam
