  1. Hey Guys, I am looking to purchase a fuel pressure reg in the near future and just have a few questions regarding different types/brands - Is there a difference between brands? Which are better? why? - What features should I be looking for? are they all adjustable? - Are they universal or do i need a special type to fit an rb25? Thanks Adam
  2. Interesting, so a s15 sr20 injector would go straight in? What sort of power would a 440 or a 480cc injector make? I remember some sort of formula around, but cant find it. Adam
  3. Another question is would injectors from an s15 jdm or aus 200sx fit in an rb25? They are both side feed high impendance. Apparently they are 440cc or 480cc but I havent found out for sure.
  4. If you motor is going in for a rebuild maybe take out the injectors and have them cleaned and flow tested? That way you will know for sure. Adam
  5. sounds like chicane, I think he works (I use the term loosely) at Melb Uni Adam
  6. I did read that, but didnt understand what it really meant. I think I get it now, Thanks heaps Sydneykid & others Adam
  7. So does anyone know if the fuel pump table is wrong or if there is a proper reason bosch's figures are different from the ones posted here? Adam
  8. I was just looking at the bosch website in the motorsport section and it has all the specs of their fuel pumps. The flow figures seem to differ a little from what is stated in the above table posted in this thread. Here is the link Bosch Fuel Pump pdf Am I missing something? :freak: Adam
  9. I meant 15psi of boost pressure
  10. Thanks heaps Sydneykid. Makes it a bit clearer. So if i were to use a bosch 910, and run say 15psi, the provision of fuel before the injectors come into play would be enough for the rated 450bhp? Adam
  11. Sorry to dig up an old thread. I have a question regarding the fuel pump pressure table. What is the standard pressure for a GTR or GTSt? Also what is the pressure value stated with each of the pumps? is it the pressure when they are working at their max? and do other components such as fuel pressure reg and the fuel system on a whole effect what pressure the fuel system can handle? I hope that makes sense. Adam
  12. Did you happen to look in the back half of the manual? Adam
  13. P.S. If you read page 37 of the manual it says at step 1: Adam
  14. I dont know, mine had always run with no problems without the little plug for the 3rd port. i dont actually have it connected atm cause i have an adjustable actuator. Adam
  15. hmmm I believe those little plugs have nothing to do with the boost control. I pulled them all out when I installed mine. Perhaps it is your settings? Adam
  16. It records the peak boost pressure as well so it is handy with that function. I have a seperate boost gauge though for the purpose that Merli pointed out. Adam
  17. My stock turbo can hold 15psi all the way to 7000rpm :headspin: Adam
  18. A combination really. The stock wastegate actuators are sometimes not strong enough to hold the wastegate shut, so the wastegate opens more and boost drops off. Adam
  19. IIRC the stock boost gauge takes its reading off the back of the inlet manifold. AFM does not read boost pressure.
  20. Could be that the stock wastegate actuator isnt strong enough to hold that amount of boost. I had a similar problem, I changed the wastegate actuator for a garret adjustable item. Now it holds boost right to redline. Adam
  21. Ok I disconnected it when I went out to get fuel tonight, no HICAS light or any other side effect so far. Adam
  22. It has me stumped. I will look at it friday night I think. Adam
  23. I think there was a optional cruise control. I couldnt see the switch on the ecu wiring diagram, was cruise controlled by a seperate ecu? The reason I ask is I want to use the switch for another purpose and want to know if it is ok to disconnect it on a non factory ecu. Only one way to find out I guess... Adam
  24. Hey guys, Anybody know what the switch on the clutch is for? It looks just like the one on the brake pedal. I couldnt see it on the ECU wiring diagram. Any thoughts? Thanks Adam
