  1. I might be interested in 2 of them if you can find someone else to buy the other 2. Adam
  2. Are you using the Profec B Spec II? If so what settings are you using for 10 and 13psi? Thanks Adam
  3. Any pics of the front bar? Thanks
  4. thanks, yeah i didnt have to put my hand in my pocket at all. the assessors even paid for a taxi for me to go to work after dropping it off and paid for one to take me back to the assessment centre Adam
  5. Got my car back yesterday. It went to Glenroy Body Works in the end. I am very happy with the work they did. Yay I have my car back Adam
  6. Here is a pic of the damage, doesnt look too bad, but as whistla mentioned it could be bent underneath. Adam
  7. Ok just got the car home. The damage doesnt *look* as bad as I thought, but the boot and the left lights dont seem to fit flush anymore. I think my number plate took the brunt of it. The lady who hit me is actually local and I just happened to be driving along the road she lives on and saw her car parked out the front of her house. The damage to her car is probably worse than mine. Adam
  8. Question for you guys: When I spoke with my insurance company i lodged a claim and gave them all of the other drivers details. They said bring your car to our assessors and they can have it all sorted for you and will do the leg work. Should I be really using this option? or should I go get my own quotes or repairer. Keep in mind that I have never made a claim before and hence dont know any panel shops or how this whole process works. I just wanted the easiest and quickest way to do it Adam
  9. king_kw13: mild steel is what i mean.
  10. I might have a good look at my car over the weekend to see if there was any other damage, it was a bit dark last night. whistla: problem is i just dont have the time to run around finding quotes and stuff. I think if there looks to be further damage I think I will. king_kw13: i actually have a Kakimoto exhaust. I think it is mild though. We'll see I guess. Might try and get some pics tonight. Adam
  11. Well apparently the insurer (JC) is going to handle it. All i have to do is drop the car off and pick it up. They are even going to pay for a taxi for me to get to work. So I dont know who will handle the repairs But the repairs better be spot on else I will not be accepting it. Adam
  12. Thanks guys I just got off the phone with the insurance company. Going to drop the car off to them on monday morning. Hopefully it wont be a long time to fix Adam
  13. Hey guys, A damn lancer ran into the back of me tonight. I had driven to the end of my street and was waiting at a T intersection for traffic to clear, and the lancer was sitting behind me. Was about to go but thought one car coming was moving a bit quicker so I put my foot back on the brake (hadnt moved forwards yet) and the lady behind me must have been distracted thought i was moving off and drove into the back of me. :goddam: My rear bumper is pushed in, and damage to my muffler i think. Could have been worse I guess. Oh well maybe another skyline to head to palm. Adam.
  14. Just a question, What "mode" do you have the Whiteline craddles set at? I would assume max traction, but does this have a negative effect on cornering ability in every day driving? Also what is the widest tyre you can fit on a standard skyline rim? Adam
  15. Maybe a boost controller that will allow you to make the boost come on very slowly and not until up in the rev range. Adam
  16. I dont think you will be able to set it to 1psi. I think you can only go as low as the factory actuator. Adam
  17. No No, i will get the veneer calipers out tomorrow night and measure it just to make sure Adam
  18. Well it isnt 5X5cm. How about 8 X 8cm X 2cm? Adam
  19. T it off the fuel pressure reg at the front of the intake manifold. Or find a workshop to do it, if you have put most of the gauge in apart from the vacuum hose, it shouldnt cost too much. Adam
  20. Prob 1-2cm tall Nup no worries from customs.
  21. It is more like 10X10cm, but yeah it will fit in the DIN tray I got mine from Greenline for $515 delivered Adam
  22. Hey Guys, I now have my profec 2 (thanks greenline), and it is all installed. Now my question is..... To the people who have these units, how did you go about setting the boost? Any tips, or settings you found to work well. I guess every car is different, but I would like to hear some suggestions. I have had a play with mine, but it isnt consistent yet, plus it is just a road tune. I think I will get it on a dyno to double check a/f and boost consistancy, but i would like the settings to be in the ball park at least. I have a front mount, 3inch turbo back and pod. Does 12psi sound about right? Thanks Adam
  23. The owner of Gainsville has at least 2 GTR's
  24. the aerial is working fine, goes up and down when switched on and off. The adaptor I got was a straight plug in from the jap 2 pronged wire to a single prong wire. It was actually listed for nissan's. I will look up the product when I get home tonighy Adam
