A lot of the people on the forums here support Brent and will do so in the future. You will probably complain if it was from another supplier also and i dont see why you have to put the suppliers name in this post. Brent/Nengun hasnt enuff time to be defending/posting to threads like these. You really should be taking it out on customs and not Nengun.

Sup all, I have purchased a power fc for my R33 93 Model, was gonna install it today but i got stumped..... can any one help. i have a power pc part number 414an012, ecr r33 , rb25det is what is written on the box i have taken the oem computer out only to find the plugs are different or am i missing something ? oem computer oem computer apexi power fc part number on box or is my car different ?

man took me ages to find this thread again. im sure everyones thats in the powerfc from the group buy will be looking for this thread also. just a question. would the fuel map work on any car with similar mods? if boosted or not boosted. can anyone post anymore rb25det maps and list your mods. thanks..........

I wish i didnt get up at all today. :-( I drove to macca's and on the way back gave it a wee bit too much throtle. I have that 4k rpm boost cutting thing. it surge forward once not sure it was a spike... and then just doesnt want to go anymore. It now revs at just above 0rpm and doesnt quite stall. you cant rev past 3k rpm. blows a lot of black smoke out the back, change spark plugs which were also black. could it be the turbo ie like when its dead ? thanks............ going back to bed now

I did mine last weekend. I used the hose where the fuel rail ends and goes back to the pleneum, but my brother said if it stuffs up, it could fry your engine. so i moved it to where the pipe that goes to the BOV and tee it of there. You can basically use any hose that has vacum/pressure. Didnt have a camera to take pics. can do it this weekend.

theres a thread by someone that the is a hairline crack on the coil, if you tape that up it will stop the 5000 poping / boost cutting feeling. also in that thread, someone argued that the power fc or was it a safc will resolve that problem too. dont know if its true or not, so i will have a look at the coils this weekend and tape it, cause mine pops alot and cant keep up with the boys

Sorry - my assuption of Mildly worked would be parts you put onto your car before you need to start spending big money. ie front mount in general and not installed this way. my upgrade path. pod - exhuast - cooler - boost - cpu. I aiming at 220kw at wheels with stock turbo. Theres really no point if your going to mount the cooler and take it to the shop for piping. You should let the shop do it if you dont feel confident about it and can get it done for a cheap price. The DIY is about saving money by doing it yourself. If you dont want make your own piping then the other option i would have done was get the kit with all the piping and installed it myself.

I paid 110 for mild steel, plus $30 in paint. sooo yes in my books it is. I havnt notice lag, just a slight bit of lag, but once the power kicks in, its more than worth it. people who go down this path will more then likely turn their car into something mildly modified. im after a computer next. just a tip, try and cut the u bend to be as close as posible. when i feel bored or when i get another front bar, i'll probably chop about 3 inches on either side. if you see lzy pic and my pic, mine could use some more trimming. believe it or not the silicon hoses and t- bolt clamps cost more than the piping.

Im not sure if you can have a 90 degree bend with 10 cm on one side and 30 on the other. You probably could if you ask them, cause they probably bend their own pipes. the pipes they gave me, had about 6 inches on either end.

i just used a spay can and spayed the inside of the pipe at an angle. i fiured that its better to have some paint then no paint. plus most of the bends are short and can get a good coat on it, its just the straight pipe that may be a little thin, but i went though a two whole can.

thats what i figured croat, so i used them both. its a hassle if you have to do it on your own.......... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr one whole day to get a cat and dump pipe in by myself.

you need to seal it just in case there is a leak. so yes. anyways it doesnt cost that much.

you forgot to add the stock wrx cooler and the thing revs to 8-9000.

thats a major service you are up for. If your car still runs. I would save up a little bit more and do the following in one go. change all belts water pump. all fluids, sparks etc
