no way.. Water can get in the boot easily enough causing rust.. but you have to ask "just what else" elsewhere else that is much worse to fix. looks like they have sprayed the bottom of the chasis to cover/fix the rust, but its still there breeding by the looks of things.

think you could be waiting a while.. there really aren't that many parts you need you know.. and bolts and nuts aren't hard to come by.. car ones aren't that special.

clutch squizbo. I hope you didn't want any brake stuff.. like the ABS unit, etc as that got tossed in the bin I think..

QLD is great, other than the occasional flood I've got an R32 now.. just got the basics at the moment.. Would be pushing it.. but its possible I may have time before end of August to stick the highflow rb25 on there and some GTR injectors.. would be nice to get it tuned with all that.

Curious.. well I have some rear springs sitting here.. well known brand.. they will fit r32 gts-t shocks I think, but not sure whether they are reasonable option. ID: 76/76mm Wire O/D: 11mm Coils: 10.5mm Spring Rate = ??? All are via steel ruler, so maybe a little inaccure Want to give guessing the brand a try?

I bought a whole heap of stuff off a half cut, but some of it isn't any use for a GTS-T when I looked at it closer. Nissan slave Cylinder for R32 GTR/GTS4 - appears in good condition. Can throw in the line as its no use to me.. $50 Will post..

I can build ya one sam.. although the one I built isn't working so lol, maybe i am not the best person after all But I am working on tracking down the problem, hopefully getting it working. I've been checking all the voltages on page 117, and all appear within spec. So I don't know what is going on.. and I am getting 5V at TP2 when 5V applied to input, so it may even be working?? It's possible I have stuffed something whilst building the hand controller. I have to go over that again too.. Spent about 4-5 hours trying to check everything - so frustrating when it doesn't work !

What is the rubber hose for at the *top* of the gearbox?? More specifically R32, but I think R33 has the same setup.. Here is on an R33 box.. Just that I am collecting bits for a manual conversion. Most other bits I am pretty sure where they all go, but not sure on where the top hose goes, and what its for.

After a standard clutch line..that goes to the slave cylinder, and is about 15cm long. Think RB25 and rb20 could be the same, but you'll have to provide some pix if you have an R33 one.

did I say that? or did I say exactly $2,000 even? I said around $2k.... a few hundred dollars more than what GTR rims go for. all I am saying is you are not necessarily going to get crap rims for around $2k .. and if we are comparing *second hand rims* (which we are)... there are lots of other options available, big brands and otherwise

First I've heard anybody say its actually for the weight benefits.. Most that i see with GTR rims seem to be your typical ricer lappers that couldn't care less. Many of the genuine Engei's, volks, etc - in 18" can get for ~$2k for a set these days.. direct from japan brand new :confused:

What, there aren't any newer cars that are equally as good? think you'll actually find there is better quality to choose from. Cost you a couple of $k more, but its worth it..
