  1. hire a debt collection agency.. not only the drama with the house is costing you lost money due to solicitors fees, it's also costing you good money in lost tenancy.. if not, just pay the bitch $2k cash in hand and tell her to f**k off, will work out cheaper for you in the end.
  2. I remember when red was like $22 in any bottle shop you walked into still not that flash tho
  3. I have the australian delivered LS400 - and it shits over any skyline for daily driving, where you are usually stuck in traffic anyhow. The only think that would come close is a car a couple of years old. Returns about 11L/100km as well on the highway.. recommended
  4. even if it says not to use a primer.. use a primer.. that's your problem.. done 2 years ago
  5. hey, bugger off I was meant to pick them up today, except the guy seems to have forgotten his own phone number
  6. cool.. looking for a contact on the GC for that sort of thing myself. Got to get my kit done too.. will contact you shortly.
  7. science 101 eh.. looks similar to mine.. usually caused by a shit battery. Soon as I put in a nice sealed battery problem went away. Century ftl.
  8. probably can, but the main reason it will be forsale for that low, is because: 1) the buyer is too poor to keep it, or desperate to get the money for it - therefore probably didn't maintain it either, which may lead to potential headaches further on 2) it's already half stuffed, so by the time you put in a new motor it's not so cheap anymore. Also when you factor in the insurance cost of around $1000 a year, petrol of about $50 a week, and everything else $8-9k is only the start. Anyhow, there are bargains out there, but there are also a lot of ongoing costs.
  9. I think your budget is too low for a performance car..
  10. Who's Cam ?
  11. yeah, random net photo.. ha
  12. it's in german .. lol
  13. 8 minutes! I don't have 8 minutes to watch that at work.. actually.. i do
  14. not the sort of car to handle anyhow if I want to corner I've got the 32..
  15. cool.. did think if i do mod it may get another motor built, with massive blower, scooping the bonnet and pop that in.. would be funny cheaper than a decent rb26 build probably too
  16. I might have considered yours for around that price.. ahh well.. I wasn't even really looking for a new car particularly, just was on carsales the other week as I was getting a bit sick of the pulsar - had a look at the LS400, and saw this one. Owners were having a baby or some such like next week, and had 2 other Lexus so they didn't really need a 3rd one.. Joe idiot public hears 'v8' these days and runs 1000km away.. even though so far it's getting 11km/100L on the highway, which is the same as any 6.. and only a bit more than the pulsar.. ha
  17. Yeah.. done 271,000 - then again, for $8k I ain't complaining.. figured half-cut for a new engine would cost $3k or so at worse. How can I tell the steam seals are worn? mine is copper/brown
  18. yeah.. mine will be ticking over 300,000km in about a year.. better start saving now.. Not going to take it to lexus though for the 100k thing. I think the engine is non-interference.. so I may even give it a crack myself. If i stuff the timing belt it's just not gonna work, and I do it again.
  19. Parts for the LS are cheap from the US as they actually have 3rd party replacements for most of the common things, instead of the $exus official parts. Just going to import all mine, fit myself, save the dollah. Don't think much really needs to be done to mine anyhow for a while. Just going to keep it stock for a year or so anyhow. After that may think of things to mess with it.
  20. Yeah, usually 'cheap' cars end up costing you money anyhow.. Having 2 cars that aren't shitboxes costs a bit to keep on the road.
  21. that's one sexy camera.. for one sexy boy hey I got a safety cert for the pulsar.. I think I have a buyer picking it up next week, but if not it still might be available.
  22. odd... I've fitted them perfectly, and seen quite a few other 32 with them on.. maybe you have some slightly different discs? although even then I wouldn't have thought that wouldn't have made a massive difference. I have DB4000 discs.. I am sure the calipers sat out further (towards the edge of the rim) than you have it sitting. Here we are, when I was test fitting some ages ago..
  23. put me down as well for R32.. cheers
