  1. http://www.blazt.biz/ Can do a lot of what the consult interface can do.. which is only available to authorised nissan dealers. You'll need a laptop, not necessarily a fancy one..
  2. nooo... at least strip it for parts so they can go to new homes that will appreciate the tasty bits, not some kid who could run it into the nearest pole at any opportunity You shouldn't have too much trouble selling the R32, there is a bit of a shortage of them I reckon (hence the higher than expected pricings lately), even with the 15 year cars, and not everybody still wants an R33..
  3. I was pretty sure you didn't have a chance to get your mits on it at all.. had to go straight from docks to compliance centre. With 15 year cars you could do what you liked before compliance. SEVS is a more integrated process.
  4. I think you might be lucky.. as it's a day's work, if you know what you are doing, probably 2 if not. It's not something you'd choose to do for 'fun'. I think v8man is pretty much ob the ball with the list of parts, as I'm just in the process of collecting them myself. He did miss tailshaft though, which is an important one (I paid $150 for my manual shaft) ECU does not have to be changed, but thats been covered. Auto in manual req eCU change, manual into auto not. It will work anyhow, if there are any issues, change it later. There is some basic wiring you have to do too with neutral switch and a few other things. I don't think you have to change the cluster.. maybe on R33 as it has the christmas tree auto thing in there. but R32 they are exact same (I have two clusters sitting around). You will need to change your speedo sender too, for the different ratios - or your speedo will be out. Does anybody know where you can get the selector fork from and boot? From memory it looks very similar to R31 one (nearly identical sized box).. but i didn't get one with my box For R33 boys you're looking at about $2000 in parts, so it won't be cheap.. There is no place that sells the kits "complete" afaik so you'll have to hunt for a halfcut, wreck, or a wrecker (who will charge you big bickies). Already for my cheap ass box, and rest of the bits on the R32, it's going to be up around the $1000 mark for the bits.
  5. Come to QLD depends what car it is, but all the R33 I've known of recently have sold within a month.. at what I would say a good price (around 20k or +) I kind of had thoughts of whether to sell the R33 in melbourne, or wait until I moved up and sell here. The decision to sell here paid off and I got a great price for the old car in a fairly short amount of time. Personally I'd say VIC is a bad market to sell an import, as the "fad" has dried up a bit down there, from what I can see.. whereas QLD and NSW it's still going strong.
  6. I have them, and saw your post - but I am going to recycle some of them when I rig up my FMIC for a temporary setup. useful : not
  7. not to be too narky, but best lap was only a second off yours stock exhaust, stock suspension, stock boost, stock everything.. all good things come in time...
  8. ahh thanks.. had a play this afternoon. Looks pretty much like exactly the same has happened to this one. The extra bracket which is on the rear sway bar to hold it in place has rotated, managing to dig itself into the cable. Means it has trouble "springing back" into place. Anyhow, releasing the pressure on the cable has made it a fair bit better.
  9. ahh that one.. from the otherside, it has the space saver on.. and it *may* have had a dent.. funny they're showing the "good" side. be wary I'd say.. it has been forsale for quite a few months.
  10. ooo .. sounds mysterious
  11. Why didn't you use this as the new WA whoretown??
  12. I've got a full set, but they're the original import ones.. if you can get by with them in VIC then send me a PM
  13. man $15-20k goes a long way
  14. Its a very nice car, and has plenty of road presence.. any buyer won't be disappointed.
  15. hehe.. I think he must come up the goldcoast a bit, afterall he did come all the way from woop woop in NSW to buy it. meh.. r32 will be faster, handle better, and maybe one day look better than the R33 ever did.. I feel it in my bones but it was a spin out to see it.
  16. happy birthday big boy.. go the powahhh!
  17. err.. I find it funny how you guys reply to his threads in all seriousness.. just look at his other posts guys
  18. I just keep thrashing mine, I'd be happy if it blew up.. make me do the manual conversion much quicker
  19. Do you still have a stock radiator Roy? I am unsure how the stock rb20 one even stops the car from blowing up in any form of Australian heat. Even my (current) stocker had trouble keep the temps down after just 5 lap stretches the other day..
  20. Well this is just me, but I don't think black rims look good on any car, except maybe a black one..
  21. I think he is politely telling you that you would be getting ripped off, and that the extras are cheap rubbish.
