Originally they planned on GT HD being a 'full game', but then scaled that idea back as they felt it was only Gran Turismo 4 with better graphics.. Therefore they are working on a 'proper' Gran Turismo 5 which will be a full redo apparently, tweaking all aspects of the game to properly utilise the PS3.

Unfortunately all the people that are desparate to sell are pushing the price down to $11-12k for an R33 with a few mods. So really, not much you can do.. There will always be somebody willing to let the car go for a stack less than you are, simply because there are so many around, and lots of others desperate to sell. Being 'in the country' doesn't help either, as it's a couple of hours drive from melb if people want to look at it.

Just took a photo of an R33 and an R32 one side by side. The r33 is a lot skinner, and a bit lighter.. but they both are interchangeable, and work the same.

It's attached on the other side to your clutch cylinder in the engine bay.. so you will need to unbolt that Get your head under (with a torch) and there should also be a pin that ties the clutch cylinder to the pedal bracket. Undo that.. It's like doing yoga, it's great

yup.. starter motor jams on flywheel.. won't turn over, no matter how much current it draws. This is exactly what mine was doing. I just bought a 2nd hand starter off somebody on here for $120. You can also get yours rebuilt by a few places. You can replace the starter motor yourself in about an hour. It is a simple job - don't be too stressed.

rb25 is direct swap.. should be able to get one for under $300 off somebody. either that or get your rb20 one rebuilt for around $300.. look up 'alternator reconditioning' in yellow pages..

There's more than just 2 pins you will need to work around if you go this route ... Get a pinout diagram of both the RB20det and RB25DET ecu's and you will be able to work out what needs to be changed to start with. Then a lot of the sensors are different and need to be wired differently as well.

It's like a really light sandpaper (the number is the grade.. 300 is like really coarse, 1200 really fine).. which you wet so that it doesn't cause too much abrasion. Soap scourer sometimes works pretty well too. Either way, you'll probably get some swirl marks unless you go the whole way, and polish it right back. Otherwise, just get them painted - but the surface will need to be flat & clean first.

you'll need to sand that off with 1200 or so wet and dry.. although it might give a brushed finished after that

My problem turned out to be starter.. Found this out after installing a brand new battery.. Basically I think a stuffed started drains a lot more current that it should to turn over. But you will need to investigate alternator and any other current drain as well.
