Install bilsteins & whitelines.. this is why they are recommended so often.. as quite a good track/handling combo, which is also good for day-to-day driving. This is what I have and it's fine. Maybe the teins are fine for a lot of track work, but the Jap versions suck on the street.

I assume you are asking what you can use? - using rb20 coilpacks.. and the little box on top of the coilpack cover? coilpacks = yes.. ignitor box = no - the sensor thingy that bolts to the outside of the cam cover on the exhaust side of the cam..??? I assume you mean crank angle sensor = no - alternator, powersteering pump, aircon stuff, etc i know this bolts on.. yes, yes it does - the main drive for the belts that goes on the crank.. along with harmolic balencer.. etc.. ???? Don't you mean the harmonic balancer? not sure, don't think so.. - upper and lower cam covers..?? no.. rb25 has the extra lobe coming out for the VCT.. rb20 top cover is flat, therefore won't fit from what I remember. Bottom, think it's not tall enough. - maybe the sump if i cant fix it... pretty sure sump is different too, never tried swapping that though

Thing is.. skylines aren't really that stand-alone anymore in their performance bracket. There is lot else to choose from, which are probably faster given less mods. Which really makes the skyline not that exciting. It seems that those with some money much prefer to race newish WRX, EVO's, SS's, etc and the status that goes along with them - often as a daily driver. Or your older classics. These blokes are in their 40's and beyond, not really the type that you'll often see driving a mere skyline. They're also old cars now.. stuff goes wrong at the 10 year mark. You have to be all in, or not in at all these days. In the next couple of years I expect to replace nearly every component of my car, and already have many things. 90% of skyline owners are posers.. and probably misguided ones. They don't hold onto them for long..

My starter has recently packed it in.. same symptoms, replaced battery, no fix - except mine would not start when warm (seemed ok when cold). Borrowed a new one, and seems to be working fine now.

So was working fine, and then just stopped? Or have you added something recently?

my rb25 for whatever reason had the tb one removed.. so just rerouted the coolant hose directly.. Have noticed no issues..

I wouldn't mind one.. but $999 is a lot when there aren't a heap of games to choose from right away.. I will probably wait 12 months until there are a few more games to choose from. I think the price here is about $109 for most games - why would anybody buy games locally when you can import them for about $75 thanks to a high aussie dollar?? Sony is strange sometimes.

But most stores were virtually deserted, despite the 20,000 pre-orders Sony said it had received. Even at the official launch event held at Myer's Pitt Street store in Sydney's CBD and attended by Sony's local managing director, Michael Ephraim, media and security outnumbered PS3 fans until at least 11:00pm. At midnight, about 40 PS3 buyers had arrived to collect their consoles, causing distress for the army of camera crews who turned up expecting to capture launch mayhem. Desperate producers unashamedly asked the crowd to fake excitement when the cameras were rolling, while a team from 2Day FM let out bogus cheers to convince their radio listeners that a launch extravaganza was underway. The scene was a stark contrast to the US launch in November last year, where one man was shot by thieves and fights broke out over limited stock.

I watched it.. was one side of the room old people.. on the other young people, and everything you'd expect to be said from each side. Wasn't too much new, nor that well done. If anything, there was no counter to what the younger people were saying re, less passengers means drink driving, we need to learn actual avoiding accidents, rather than just how to drive and park. And the usual parents who had lost loved ones needlessly trying to justify tougher actions, and attempting to do something to cover up their own guilt issues over their kid's deaths. Then there was that tool from the Monash Accident Centre (Bracks toy boy) going on about more stats and 'statistics show..' which bothered me, rather than the real world. Statistics can show anything if you spend enough time wanting them to say something.
