Thats not true, as I have the "GTR" style wheels and mine is non m-spec.. basically every turbo skyline i have seen has the 5 spoke jobbies.. I have seen them in diagrams with flat style riims, but never seen them over here I don't think.

I have an early non-type m and thats pretty much the case.. very small brakes.. but still LSD. Its pretty easy to upgrade the brakes to the 4 pot for pretty cheaply so its no real problem. Mine has a different steering wheel (not too bad anyhow), no sideskirts, and also has the analogue climate control. It has HICAS, and I believe if its an R32 of any type, it came with HICAS.

Pretty sure every model has it.. except it possible it be able to be "optioned out" like most things on the skyline, don't think I have ever seen one without it. You can tell if it has hicas as there is an extra chunky thing down near the diff.. think it may even say "HICAS" on it. You can also pop the boot and have a look for the little silver box which is the HICAS controller under the parcel shelf

I'm after a pair of good tyres in the next week to start getting the R32 on the road. Probably going to get Falken RT215's, but any other suggestions welcome.. Only need R16's so shouldn't be easier on the wallet. Budget is about $400 I've heard Brannigans are pretty good down here, are they good on prices as well? Any other suggestions? or should I just pickup the yellowpages cheers peepz..

Well finally the trader ratings have been fixed up by Prank so I think everybody who has bought or sold anything in the last 6 months go through and find whoever they bought / sold the item(s) and leave some feedback. To do that, click on the number in the profile to your left and click "submit feedback for xxxx" and go forth. Sometimes I think you do have to give people the benefit of the doubt if something does go wrong, although obviously if its somebody intentionally doing dodgy this needs to be pointed out. I've just gone and done a whole heap I remember dealing with myself, to help along the process. So will only work if everybody goes and backdates a little I reckon for recent transactions. This will help know who has been good and bad, and allow you to make an important decision in buying off somebody on here. Nobody wants to get ripped off. p.s. This is related to general automative discussion because its er, buying and selling of automotive parts and I thought it kind of important to know And also, people easily miss these things if not formally announced

Some young guys were killed today driving a camry.. running away from the police. Speeds were only 120km/hr. It was on the news.. its only "high performance" cars that kill people right?? people will find ways to kill themselves no matter what they drive.. This measures will have such a little effect on actually save lives. Take Victoria, they have had these restrictions for nearly 20 years and yet younger victorians still manage quite well to kill themselves.. They had some guy going about how "restrictions would save lives" and yet then he proceeds to say that his accident was driving a Mitsubishi colt and then some other guy comes on saying he was all for it because he had nearly died in something else equally pissant.. this issue has become so distorted the facts matter little. The only few incidents I can remember from my 18-24 or so period, were friends of friends or whatever rolling an old 1978 corolla, and another a early 80's sigma... a 120kw or so 1978 torana, and a couple of idiots crashing like a datto and I forget the rest. All were very lucky, but the power of the car had nothing to do with it. Not one incident can I remember any of them being "high performance cars" . I came from a poorer area were hardly anybody could afford a V8 at that age, nevermind anything new or exotic like an import.. made no difference - accidents still occured, and fatalities around the area were common.

They won't.. in Victoria they still insured you even though you were not elligible to drive the vehicle.. even paid out claims. They just want the money. Premiums are so high in sydney because of theft mainly..

I'm well past the p-plate age.. but I think its all a little misguided what they are trying to do. There have been, and will always be deaths on our roads. Making life difficult for a large number of people is not the way to do it. I agree on some of the ideas in some ways, but you have to give people the freedom to make their own decisions in life. If people make silly decisions and destroy their lives or others, then so be it. That's been humanity for thousands of years.

mate all that smoke coming from the rear end.. you might want to look into that soon as I leave VIC interesting stuff starts happening down there - good to see anyhow. It's also good to see you're not afraid to take the car out there, or even further - let somebody else you hardly know do it instead 95% on this forum would never even consider it. More people should get out there and give it a try.. whether its drift, track or to a lesser extent drag (imho) .. its the best shit you can do sitting down. Nissans are built for thrashing..
