The speedo reads 90,000km but who knows.. well it hasn't actually been driven anywhere in australia yet, and its a completely stock auto.. It doesn't look like its had a hard life. RB20DET's are becoming harder to find apparently. Pity about those gem-engine guys as it sounded promising.. guess they only focus on "mass market" motors as that is what everybody has.

I think you'd want to make sure on the s15 injectors.. as there are a number of different types. There is something like the "R spec" ones having the larger ones, or something like this, but not the "s spec" S15's.. I remember reading it was all the aussie ones (or maybe the earlier ones) are meant to have the smaller injectors, whereas the jap S15 had the 480cc injectors... Somebody should be able to clarify this, as the info on n.s. can be inconsistent at best. They are a good option anyhow.. Wonder how much they are new from nissan ??

Can get replacement fuel caps from any servo.. Little surprising that that seal on the pump side of the tank causes that much difference as I though the bolts would give a pretty good seal there.. and I can't really see it splashing out unless fuel was really slapping against the top there. The tank either must be very full or its something else. I'd just use some form of petrol tollerant sealant on the ring there..

I wouldn't ever use the stock boost gauge if checking the boost.. even spending $40 on a cheap boost gauge is better than a stuffed turbo or worse.

no, I saw the light.. victoria was turning into a dull police state! queensland suits me to a tea.. I like sitting around drinking beer in the sun or down near the beach.. and I don't get worked up over pointless things.. that *is* being a queenslander! hell i'm working from home earning good money.. the beach is 10 mins away with loads of hot chicks..
