Not sure whether they are even out of a skyline.. could be off an infinity, cefiro, laurel, or other nissan. They don't look like any R32 seats I have seen.

Well I'd actually go Bosch.. unless you really want to save money to spend on other things (like me). Walbro is fine for 250rwkw or so apparently. You hear conflicting reports though on how good they are. At $180 or whatever I paid, worth trying for a while.

won't make any difference unless your existing one is rooted.. About all I noticed was a tiny bit better throttle response, although this could have been my imagination. installed another pump literally an hour ago.. although that one was a walbro which is tiny. Its an easy process (even easier in R32 as well!)

sav1: I was fairly concerned about the car sitting outside for 3-4 months, and with earthquakes, tsunamis (sp?) and everything else wasn't the best feeling. But when it arrived the other week overall the paint was still in very good condition for its age, although a little dulled probably from sitting outside all that time. With some heavy work on the cut & polish, and a hefty wax has come up really well. No signs of rust anywhere on the car or anything. If the paint is already on its last legs, sitting outside may break it down fairly quickly, but otherwise, if the paint is good - sitting outside I don't think is going to make it go from great to terrible.

Thats what I did when installing mine in the new car the other day.. The adapter screw fits into the standard plenum position perfectly (was a Speco gauge and std. kit it comes with). Unscrew the stock one, screw direct in the plenum. All done - nice plenum reading.

don't eat junk food for 3 weeks, lose 3kg.. simple really. Its not worth bothering about from a weight perspective at all like EVO is saying. My toolbox weighs 12kg for a start.. spare about 12kg.. etc.. but still.. I need a new bonnet.. buying a genuine one or finding one from a wreckers maybe $300.. painting maybe another $300.. total cost: $600.. carbon fibre / fibreglass one $900 or so.. may as well spend the extra for the wank factor.. they do look cool with the vents..

lucky dip wreckers it is.. Unless you did want to wait until about February when I am pulling my rb20det out.. could see it running, driving around, etc. Least you would know it would be pretty decent condition (well I think it is, haven't really had a chance to check all the compression, etc yet)

strutto: yeah, it was a blue van! That's the one. It was on the news actually and they had some footage. Apparently some drunk old guy was involved in a hit and run somewhere (I think the coomera thing was a different thing), and he was making a run for it. He was something like 3 times over the alchohol limit or something. They used spikes to blow out the tyres. That must'a been what the other cops up front were doing at the side of the road. And the 3 cop cars further back must have been holding up all the traffic to stop them catching up to this guy. All makes sense now. Wow - I got to see news in the making how exciting

Jan 1st would make sense for an announcement.. Its been talked about for nearly 6 months that it would be nothing allowed after 1/1/05.. but nothing firm has been announced. I think its a little late with all this petition business (it was all done 6 months ago), and with a parliamentary majority there isn't much chance. Government can do what they like.

yeah.... rear fill I think is essential actually for a good sounding setup. Some say its optional, but I disagree. At the moment, in the R31 I just have a pair of 6" fronts, and a decent amp powered sub, but the whole setup still really lacks the "fullness" that I like where the sound is coming from all around you. It was much better in the R33, with the 4x speakers and the sub. Don't use the 6x9's like people are saying, but some 6" (even cheaper ones) should do the job nicely.

so they come with the required bonnet latch point.. so can pretty much be put on straight away?

Was coming home about 12am last night.. and in the outgoing lanes of the M1 at about Robina area, I see one cop car on the side of the road with a couple of cops standing there outside the car. Thought that was a little strange, then 200m away *another* cop car with couple of cops standing there, which was getting even more odd. THEN bit further on, I see about 6 cop cars with lights all on surrounding what to be what appeared to be an old 4WD.. Couldn't get a proper look, as I was driving inbound, but it was strange. Then a bit further on I saw about *another* 3 cop cars with lights on also heading that way. So in the space of about 5 mins I saw about 10 cop cars! It was truly something that appeared to be out of Canonball run!! Anybody know what was happening?? :ufo:
