  1. er, not really Will But anyhow, I got it off. Just have to pop off the centre bit surrounding the shifter (that thing above).. Then under that sort of under the ashtray, etc there are another two screws for the main surrounding. All done.
  2. bahaha.. You have never lived!! Hey I did that for 10 years
  3. No - you simply don't have to use that customs broker! Mine up here did not charge such a fee to do the work to do this DEH aircon regs work. If you are paying the $150 this seems ridiculous as if you get it degassed yourself (e.g. not applying for exemption) I think you have to pay $200 or so anyhow!
  4. This company, Klippan seems to be the only group that seems to make these sorts of aftermarket belts. What are the part numbers I need for replacement seatbelts for R32 GTS-T ? Driver, passenger, and rears... Would Nissan be able to supply them or would the pricing be massive? They would be same as R32 GTR sold here wouldn't it? I rang up the Klippan customer line and they weren't very useful - they said there were two different types a "stan buckle" and a "saw buckle" or something like that.. but I couldn't even really hear what she was saying properly, and really have no idea what she was talking about. One is meant to be a long thin one, and one is a shorter one?? Somebody must have experience with this and can help me.. thanks!
  5. Got a stock RB25 series1 turbo, with the steel front wheel, and rear ceramic wheel. Comes with stock actuator. None to very minimal shaft play - in excellent condition. Only thing missing is the outlet flange, so either use your existing one if replacing a dead turbo, or get one rigged up fairly cheeply. Two exhaust studs may need drilling out, but that is pretty standard in most you will find around that have been removed. $350+post
  6. about $200 a piece for standard ones.. you can order them online www.discpads.com.au
  7. something like that.. i am going to do a diary of stock to whatever..
  8. ha.. hey.. nice.. my domain is live! www.project32.net now i better actually code something to put on there :-s
  9. sure it wasn't the rider?
  10. but i was sober! that was the worst thing. It was such like a drunk incident, except stone cold sober..
  11. ouch! I just crashed into the wall
  12. but donations make them better hey, this device is looking pretty damn interesting: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...d.php?p=1109660 I just wish I hadn't spent so much on parts just recently
  13. Looked through the manual - looks very nice. Price is amazing too for such a device with those sorts of features. So its possible for anybody to update co-ordinates into the system that we can all download via say a CSV file ?? Or does it have to be done through their central server? Just wondering how some of the directional facilities would work compared to some of the larger map based systems. So if you plug in the location, will it give you "left 300m" type thing, or is it just a general "this direction is 30km NE of you, just keep following roads that kind of head that direction" ??
  14. i love the gear agument as to a cars relative power.. as its the biggest load of bullshit there is.. somebody go rev their rb25 to the top of 7000rpm, and you can do about 90km/hr in 2nd.. in a car nearly 10 years old. What about a holden tri(trau)matic in an ancient holden with about 70kw and weighing 1400kg.. omg that can do 2nd at 110!!
  15. well seeing as my r32 one is sitting around right at the moment.. here is the rear.. from what I remember this is very similar to r33 plug wise. Soon as somebody can post an r33 one we can verify that pretty quickly.
  16. Yes, it was that simple. No, I was never charged an extra fee...
  17. ok.. well i'm now giving this a try on my r32.. ashtray screws out.. done. Plastic bit around gearstick (auto) doesn't seem to pop out at all easily though.. i don't want to break anything On my r33 it was quite easy to get out. Just pull and "pop". Is it the same as in R32 or is there something else that needs to be played with?
  18. happens on all skylines.. even my 1986 aussie version. yes, its bizzarre... to get both to come on at the same time you have to rewire them
  19. and the logic in that is? maybe ask ben (twoquik) where he sourced his replacement motor??
  20. nothing.. sweet.. I'm going a have a lightened flywheel in a week or so to go with my manual box .. ahh.. its all coming together.. my crazy plans..
  21. ill give u a slap in the head for free..
  22. After a couple of R compound tyres, or close to.. 215/50 or 205/55 or so.. in 16" ... If anybody has any with 60-70% tread.. let me know. Have to be a cheap price, or I'll go newies..
  23. last 2 .. never liked those first ones that were designed... just look odd with the letters sitting above each other. i came up with a couple ages agoo ..
