I think a couple of years ago when i was looking around a few dealers, some were actually pretty truthful.. and added "for what they're worth" when mentioning the km.. Even mentioned they were wound back in japan "before we get them". In fact I think most weren't too fussed to give this opinion when asked.

yes, sounds like compressor.. working harder than it needs to, thereby using a lot of current. 2nd hand compressor anywhere from $200 to $500.. I think there are several different types of compressors that came even for same model, so you'll have to do a search. Fitting who knows, but you could give it a try and then just get them to gas it.

yes.. there are many ways to do it... Some part numbers are shared however, so that would need to be noted. I think the FAQ is a great idea too .. will require some research.. and time to massage into a comprehensive resource, but when its there, will take out much of the traffic and frustration out of the forum. The same things get asked over and over, and are all available in older threads. It just takes somebody to traul through and decipher all the crud out.. and you have a great resource. Since I thought of the idea about 50 questions have already popped into my head that could be answered in a short paragraph each.. You'd break it down into sections so you'd have "classic skylines", R31, R32, R33, Stagea, etc and as much "need" to know information as you fit in each. Like "what is the difference between the 4 door R33 and 2 door R33?", "what is required to fit an RB26dett into a RWD?".. you could even have a parts locator service (names numbers in each state).. man the list goes on!

yeah.. bikes are the ultimate.. u sit on a powerful engine with wheels.. can't get much more efficient than that. I had dreams about it at one stage way back when, but then i got into fast cars.

Basically from now on I am a web contractor.. which means for the most part I will be working from home. Today was my last day at umart, as now I have a contract for a couple of months for a development job, then after that some solid work. But I work from home, and just invoice people for work I do for them.. It could now be! many things can now be a legitimate business expense... internet costs, phone bills, electricity.. Have to speak to an accountant, or the mafia, one or the other..

mmm... all this talk of alchohol is making me thirsty... haha.. well as of today my work = home = what i do here is my own business! better go buy a keg for my "work supplies"
