  9. Q: Good son of rajab what a terrible abortion of a car. The only people I could think might possibility want to be seen driving that pile of mismatched crap would be rice boys and perhaps the mentally handicapped (not a huge difference there really). Answered on Nov-27-04 A: Abortion huh... i bet thats the same thing your mom wishes she had done raising a 24/7 computer nerd that jacks off to cheap porn on the net huh.Mismatched? Its called primer stupid look it up. G.O.L.D. !
  10. Q: Do you ever just cruise around the block bumpin' Girls Just Wanna Have Fun in that thing? Doesn't that song just have the illest beat? answered on: Nov-27-04 A: Maybe if i was a bitch but knowing that i got a **** and balls i dont think i play that kind of shit in my ride this guy is "tough"
  11. to be honest.. its actually not *too* bad.. :flamesuit: the fit looks pretty decent.. would look better if it was painted though. If it didn't look so tryhard Skyline people would probably be less offended
  12. A landmark bridge in Indonesia is in danger of collapse because too many people are urinating on one of its steel pillars. The Ampera bridge has begun to lean at an angle because of corrosion by the acidic fluid
  13. This is kind of funny.. there are more and more twists at every turn (note pun). Might have to get Inspector Rice on the case! but scary a little, true.. it wasn't me.. i was at the goldcoast all day I swear :shifty:
  14. in Victoria.. not having the plates in the center mean the revenue cameras can't catch you.. of course it would be illegal down there.. lol. You are very lucky they didn't whack the "number plates obscured" as that is 3 points and a $200 fine I believe in VIC these days. Live in a police state, get hassled..
  15. two06.. yeah, thats where it will help.. when people decipher things, and or do the ring around and finally get the right answer, then everybody is the wiser Prank.. a sticky could be a good idea.. but whole forum could be nicer, as it could turn into a big thread, and what happens if there are stacks of photos in there as well? It would get messy. So not sure which is best. I also had an idea of a "massive skyline FAQ" to cover all the n00b questions that get asked 50 times a week... like "can i convert my gts-t into 4WD..", "can i convert my s1 to s2", "what is an mspec" and all that jazz.. with some answers, and of course being as neutral as possible Anyhow, I put my hand up to mod either the FAQ thread or the part section or sticky
  16. haha.. prolly heard it 10 times that day!
  17. well.. I think I've spent about 6-7 hours on this over the weekend, and I still haven't really finished the interior or the engine bay.. every inch of bodywork has been shampooed, cut & polished, waxed and buffed.. its worth it though.. here is an "after" shot.. With that carbon bonnet its going to come up pretty well I think..as the bonnet is the only dodgy thing atm: And cut and polish is god.. those big scratches are hardly visible anymore... and look at that shine!
  18. Yeah, i want the slotted which is the "4000" part of it.. $180 a piece I have found a place that can do them for. 4909 it is.. Just was wondering as because i have the 2 pot brakes whether there would be any difference in the actual rotors. The listing says 1989-1993 so I assume that includes the 2pot brakes as well. Thanks guys..
  19. GTS-T .. lighter.. and if you ever want to upgrade later on its much simpler to drop an RB25, do an RB30, or grab any other rb20.. rather than hunt down the 4WD variants (rare) Also if you ever want to work on your car, less stuffing around with 4WD gearboxes, 2nd diffs, etc.. I had the choice myself when i went to import, but for some of those reasons changed my mind. Anyhow, depends what you want to do with the car I guess. This may ruffle a few feathers, but if you want 4WD get a GTR :headspin: Finding a good GTS4 may be hard also, not as many around.
  20. actually the majority of people is 30+ these days.. that is why Australia is so conservative these days. anyhow, 26 is way too old.. 21 is fine if anything.. after about 21 you've learned the majority of important things regarding driving in all conditions.
  21. My front rotors are pretty scored and rooted in my new car (good ol' japanese).. Don't think it would pass a roadworthy and compliance which I am still doing. Its a 1989 R32 GTS-T So I may as well get some good DBA slotted ones for the track and other fun. Now it looks as if I have the pov-pack 2pot brakes (no "nissan" printed on them) as I don't think mine is the "m spec". Will this mean I can use the same rotors as any other R32? From the DBA part database, it lists DBA4909 for R32 fronts - also listed is DBA4963 for R33 which is thicker and larger diameter... I read a few posts which tend to indicate that the rotor sizes are interchangeable, its just the calipers that can be changed. So why are there two part numbers in the catalogue for R32 + R33 ?? Eventually I will have to upgrade to the R32 4pot or R33 calipers, so I am wondering should I go for the R32 rotors now, or would I be best off going for the R33 rotors for the larger diameter / thickness for better heat distribution??
  22. Well i did a quick run around.. Seatbelts.. Recpo quoted. .$90 each for fronts.. $100 each for rears.. and $60 for centre = total : $440. Supercheap might do a bit cheaper, they sell same brand. I have to find the exact part number from "Klippan" the manufacturer, as they only had listed Aussie R31.. And the fronts in the imports have the "loop" that goes around that bottom bar, rather than a bolt shackle which would make them different for a start. Child restraints: $12.50 each from Supercheap (repco has them too)... they're easy. Tyres: Well unfortuanately, even though the fronts are roadworthy Bridgestone Potenzas (good tyres) I can't see any "E" or DOT market on the sidewall.. Rears are nearly bald anyhow, will need replacing. EDit: Looking closely I can find a small E4 in a circle - would this be it? Blacky: good tip on the mirror.. just did the paper test then.. yup, it's slighty curved there. I was thinking visit to glass shop.. one of my windows has scratches too.. they might be able to help buff them out?? So by the time I get the intrusion bars done for $400 or so.. looking like I may only save $200 by the time I do most things.
