  1. no diff.. unless u get a VLT bottom end... R31 blocks are all the same.. the s1 VL blocks don't have all the required oil and water points (have to tap them out). If I was Nissan at the time I would have been sending Holden all the ones that slightly failed QA but who knows whether that ever happened.
  2. Pentae, these are the guys recommended by Prestige - Motorguard, Eagle Farm - 07 3868 4910 or another: Recreatiopnal Vehicles, Ernest - 5564 6177. I would have used them myself except I'm doing it down the coast. You can only ring them and ask some questions.

    Pocket Bikes

denham get one.. and somebody please photograph him flying off at 90km/hr as the bike disintigrates around him, and/or gives him a fatal electric shock Ahh.. man they don't make cheap fad crap in china like they used to!
  4. Don't forget really he is just a middle-man to the suppliers. If the suppliers are slack or out of stock, then you're not going to get the items. From what I gather, he wouldn't carry anything in stock in any sort of store himself. You put an order in, he goes and places it with the supplier on payment at your end. If you are lucky he gets part quickly wherever he is, sends it onto Australia, and then customs looks at it, might hold it for a few weeks (just for fun), slaps tax on it and then you get it in your hot little hand. If not you don't get part for long time, you bitch and whinge, then come on here If you want your parts cheap, then you have to be prepared to wait AFIAC.. otherwise, buy locally. I remember for my order, one part was easy to get, the others were a holdup, which delayed the whole order. That is how things work in the "you want it cheap, you don't have stock" world. My order took about a month, but I was prepared to wait.. wait good.. make you eager for goods.. prepare long before you actually do vitally need them Confusious say you do...mmm?
  5. 6 months ago people were bitching hell and high water at greenline then.. I love the internet..
  6. sorry, but I have to call bullcrap on that statement also, as many people are running large fuel pumps with the stock regulator... inc me in my old r33
  7. Duncan: they're pretty much all 15 year cars.. Its seems actually fairly consistent, anywhere from 10-20 days seems to be the average. Few seem to be way long, but they are very much the exception and I have a feeling something funny was happening with them (got lost, funny car, incorrect details provided, etc).. or maybe they go into further detail with every nth car?
  8. Don't tell me you've been stealing ideas from those mexicans Adrian! lol, even posted about 1 hour later http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=56049
  9. Monster tachos on commodores... or for some reason Hiluxes its big up here? wtf?!!
  10. I got them because they were $900 and some sucka paid $4000 once upon a time.. just like ur alstat copies or whatever they are..
  11. Well take it easy, but enjoy it at the same time...
  12. clear tail-lights on anything.. even the mazda's I've decided are gay because they have encouraged even bloody holden drivers in their pov boxes to stick clear taillights on their cars. Lancers with chromie rims.. Little buzz boxes with bodykits, and pee-shooter exhausts that you can hear 200m away, and sound shithouse anyhow. Unfortunately they are very prevalent up here hardcore drift cefiros that get sold before even getting used... oy!! those were original euro zepter rims.... before chromies become just trashy!
  13. goodbye fight club :wavey: the place that never existed..
  14. That would be great... at the moment its at Brisbane docks getting looked at by customs. Once that's done (few days more I think) going to get it shipped down via car carrier to my place, where I might do some of the work myself. Then can just get it taken to a place that can write out the engineers, and then to the transport dept. for rego.
  15. dats him.. Well I can let out a .. until next time. Who will it be? Where will he post? Will he clever next time? Will he start off with a random jibe here, a random jibe there and then erupt into full explosive diorhea? Will he win SAU's Tool of the Year award (STOTYA) for 2003/2004?? - two years running!!
  16. I'm going to give it a go.. I have 2x 2" (50.8mm) guages right at the moment.. just need the 3rd when I work out which will be most useful I bought a piece of carbon fibre the right size for $20 to make the DIN.. It will need some brackets.. I am 95% positive its all going to fit correctly in the space. I think it will all work and come up pretty awesome when done.
  17. hey.. I'll give some advice.. GO BACK TO SCHOOL! :spcartman (so you can create great drawings like below..)
  18. hmmm. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...d.php?p=1086918 I can understand people want to ask questions, but questioning the prices, warranty and going "I can get them cheaper" I don't think is really too much in the spirit of having a sponsor onboard, who is trying to just run their own business (with whatever associated costs they do have). Just think its a little rude, and not really encouraging for any other sponsors wanting to commit and putting in an effort for this sort of thing, which in the end benefits the site. .. some moderation of that section could be warranted?
  19. um - might take more than 4 days to build an engine guys
  20. man, this thread is out of control.. actually i think its from the sameer and shan "private collection" they got going..
  21. yeah, still doesn't work.. I also nominate a "feedback for user" button in each thread to make it more prominent so that people start using it. At the moment you have to click on the rating, and then you get the feedback or can leave feedback -> its counter intuitive.
  22. I am interested for early in the new year.. I am not quite sure whether I will need an R32 one or R33 though  What defines the difference? the engine or the routing for the car?
  23. If you can get the cable, why can't you get the software? It was posted on here by somebody.. somebody maybe even who posted in this thread.
  24. I was pulling around 180rwkw with 10psi on my (sold) r33.. any further than that did not show any gains in power. At times over the near 2 years I had it, I had it tuned (only via SAFC unfortunately) for 10psi, 11psi, 12psi, and 14psi I think at one point - none of which showed any noticeable increase in power other than bragging rights "FullSiK im jUz runnin 16pound b00st maan aNd itz kRaZy!". I found 10-12psi was more responsive and better to drive, winding it past that was just a pointless exercise. I know this sounds a little dodge, but I remembered I gave all the old dyno charts to the new owner .. there a few on the forums about the place though: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...363&postcount=8 if only the old attachments worked
  25. all sony gear currently only has 12 months, other than their Hifi gear.. nothing to read here!
