  1. how about doing all that and actually making it handle.. driving like a machine on the track instead Drift is overrated.. p.s. there are stack of HR31 that drif.. go to any drift day and you'll see a few out there.
  2. **** i'm sitting of waiting.. i've got a nice new engine ready to go in it.. think i almost have a sale on the rb20 already.. and car still isn't here next month if i am lucky.. hate to think whats happening to it outside with floods, earthquakes, typhoons, and all these things happening in Japan right now.
  3. yeah, always have to be careful of dyno figures, especially from "workshop" cars funnily enough. anywhere from 250-300rwkw is fairly "standard" these days... quite a few getting around australia with these figures.. .could probably name about 10 on here with those figures alone The question is - what fails first? and what are the inherent weaknesses when pushing past 300rwkw ?
  4. ahh.. pack and send is probably the one i am talking about up there i think. Ta.. will try them again. Last time they were very expensive on a set of sideskirts ($100) but might be more generous for something that is more compact, even though heavier. They seemed to be about the only ones that would take that sort of thing though - there must be others?
  5. Here we go again.. always have this ****ing problem. I need to ship an RB head and associated bits to NSW.. total weight will be around 50kg. Last time I did the ring to courier companies nearly all of them were "sorry, we don't take goods this large"... or "sorry, we only accept those with corporate accounts". After hearing this about the 10th time I was about to shoot somebody as it was so frustrating! Aussie post won't take this sort of thing... so this leaves??? So who knows the name of some places that can do it? I remember one place a few companies said I should try when they didn't want to know me was "pack 'n carry" but when I rang them they were hideously expensive. Come on - there must be other options!!
  6. yep - sure is -- OUT THERE BITCH...see what the s15 can run jimbo.. no excuses..

  8. I'll be there..should be a great day.. and good price too!
  9. I still don't quite understand this from reading all this.. but am I right in guessing - they want to claim the GST on the supplier charges and other things that may or may not go on over in Japan?? If that is the case, I can't quite see the issue, as this is taking place over in Japan. How can the Australian Government try and claim GST on a service or fees that are provided not on Australian soil?? But I'm not tax guy
  10. I seem to remember hearing the R31 one might fit.. Have a look at one and see whether it does. either that or you can get the flexi ones that will bend to any shape.. they look a bit shit, but it worked in an old car for a couple of years.
  11. hmm - interesting you ask.. as i just had the tailshaft out of the r31 the other week to fix a few things... took a couple of pictures if this helps. I thought the more modern skylines all had single piece tailshafts? I think  my old r33 had a single piece, can't even remember. Anyhow, on this one, the longer segment is the diff end, and the other end is the gearbox end. Where that bracket is, that is the centre bearing.
  12. $5 says the wog blows up something on the VL .. or put too much anal grease on the wheel nuts and they fly off..
  13. pft.. why u asking on here then?
  14. nope..sorry, its the shit coming from your own mouth..
