  1. Got a pair of front seats out on an r33 (sedan trim).. extremely comfortable and very firm and good support. The tiny stains you can see came out with a clean the other day, so they are no dramas. Photo doesn't really do them justice, as they are in very good condition - will fit directly in an R32, or suit silvia, etc with some mods I was going to put them in my r32.. or the r31, but the r31 requires some custom rails to be built (in the cbf basket), and i think i'm just going to get the r32 ones retrimmed Asking $200 Goldcoast pickup only.. Call 0417 016 326 or [email protected] or PM
  2. ahhh.. the sound of silence is a sweet thing.. "porn star" huh..
  3. sounds like a good idea .. unfortunately i'll be in melb xmas and new years myself.. Lot of other people will have family commitments and the like - but worth trying!
  4. nerang eh? thats just where i am working at the moment.. if i drive past it i'll be sure to decorate it for you sounds like an expensive project though?
  5. price reduced to $800 the lot.. bargain, not going to find this at this price that often. if you can organise shipping and a courier to pick it up, can send also..
  6. well u shouldn't be mates with drug dealers.. simple.. This is maybe an exaggeration in the "what if stakes", but what happens if some day some other crim decides they're going to **** your mate up (maybe lethally) and you happen to be around.. same thing could happen... it does happen - all the time. Not much sympathy - probably what the cop thought too. "Guilty By Association" .. cops have every right to search your car if you are associating with a known drug dealer. Lucky they didn't impound it, they probably could have just for fun.
  7. congrats.. think i saw this one on carsales a month or two back.. looked very nice! hope it goes well for ya!
  8. silly question.. but you did do it on a completely level surface when you checked it?
  9. ...does actually matter.. by the book you're technically not allowed to have any artificial restrictors, or devices in the exhaust. Well that is what another place told me as well. so he was just doing his job.. but take it somewhere else
  10. autos need to be punished until they break..so they can be turned into manuals
  11. yes, series1 head.. post updated
  12. I'd say many mechanics would be lazy and just do the hose method.. Knore, you might need a breaker bar to get more leverage on the socket.. longer the leaverage the easier to get it off. $20 or so for a cheapie. Anyhow, should be ok - 8L sounds too much to me (i thought it was only 5L too) but wrxhoon would know more than me.
  13. I have a complete RB25det series1 in good condition. Head assembled, and ready to bolt on to either an RB30 or RB25 block.. includes full intake manifold, all sensors, throttle body, cams, camgears, CAS, 6x good coil packs, cam cover, ignitor, injectors, fuel reg, rail, etc. Suit replacing a dead head or rb30det build.. no loom or exhaust manifold though - should be able to find these around. WILL NOT SEPARATE PARTS - buy it and sell the rest. After a quick sale as i am after something else. Asking $800 the lot Pickup in goldcoast, or can deliver to brisbane area. If you're interested 0417 016 326 or PM
  14. they always break.. I need the same one too, so if you could organise a group buy somehow that would be great. Maybe get a heap shipped from japan? May still be able to buy them new over there??
  15. there is some very useful info on http://www.jbskyline.net/ I found a few japanese sites that had some really good HR31 material as well such as the original brochures.. could dig them up if you'd like.
  16. just naming any car a "trajet" is just asking for trouble...
  17. you are only running fairly low boost.. the point at which the rb25 turbo hits its efficiency range on the rb20 may be different to the stock turbo, so that could be the situation. Have you had it tuned since the upgrade? its not going to give an instant 10-20rwkw just by sticking it on, without the appropriate tune.
  18. here is a pic... not the easiest to get to whilst the engine is in the car..
  19. also.. etch primer can also be used, which helps prevent corrosion and is used as a base coat. ... its grey also, so shouldn't stand out too much.
  20. there is an old thread with the weight of most of the components for an r33.. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=28670 realistically though you may save 100-150kg.. but it would make the car very primitive for day to day driving... and most of the time you can upgrade the power to overcome the weight (again been discussed in other threads) i ripped out most of the interior of my old shitter r31 a few weeks ago, but the noise levels were too annoying and it didn't feel any noticeable quicker so i put it all back in if you want to spend $1000's saving 20-30kg here, another 10kg there on CF, go for it.. I'd rather spend the money on upping the power and/or handling and keeping a nice car, than worrying about it too much unless it was an exclusive or 90% track car.
  21. under $10k.. condition *meant* to be ok.. rest goes on the new engine..
  22. i like it.. they could'a least painted it all the one colour though looks a bit like a chop-top rod japanese style.. Bee*R rocks.. see my avatar do the japanese guys holding up the photographs make it cooler??
  23. erm.. if you are asking "is it too old?" you're too damn old!!
