guess the rest of the country must be driving around dangerously.. except for S.A. as pretty much everywhere i know you can tint any of the windows except the front windscreen .. why do you have such ****ed laws? why? why?? i thought S.A. was a laid back and easy going place. i think i'm going to go for a S3 front on mine.. somebody has some headlights for $100, i already have an import s3 bar i've noticed, and my bonnet has been bogged up anyhow so why not.. Might paint the s3 bonnet in black to give a different look. I saw a jap HR31 with it and looked pretty nice. The s1 front just makes mine look early 80's .. rather than late 80's

going from nissan to nissan seats in an import isn't that difficult.. its just where you are going from a different manufacturer or "generic" seats.. etc. As each car has different bolt locations, sometimes heights, angles, etc..

i fink fuel filters are pretty long like 50,000km.. but not a bad idea to replace them, as all your fuel goes through it after all..

I have seen cops try to regularly try to bait people by doing the same - really they know if the person is silly enough to keep accelerating then the cop will get them. 33niz.. well not sure whether its the same up here, but it can take up to 12 months before you will hear any action regarding court, but it still can come anytime up until 12 months after the offence.

Thats why i don't speed near any clean bland car more than about 2 years old and why i'm a paranoid mf Apparently also I found out this morning, "waving your police hat" is a valid way to pull somebody over I was driving along the M1, and I'd spotted the cop a while back so was being a bit careful.. anyhow, this bogan with his nice unsecured load in his ute pulls up next to the cop (unmarked falcon wagon), and i am sitting just behind to see who he pulls over.. passenger cop winds down the window and starts pointing his hat and waving it.. Then the guy don't think got the message, and i saw screaming and some rather angry pointing from the cooper. Guy eventually got the message and pulled over. I was waiting for the lights, but apparently these days they are "optional" if you can wave your cop hat at em..

yeah, its a bitch of a process... from what i read here and elsewhere its always a "simple job" to adapt most seats to fit most cars.. This is :bs!: Maybe if you're a welder or something, but otherwise, its painful.

generally the originals are plastic rather than fibreglass.. although some originals are fibreglass also. I remember on my sideskirts, they had a sticker on the inside with the branding. No reason why a copy couldn't either, but would be a bit of extra work to fake them up.

lol - they didn't want to spark a "dangerous high pursuit " by using their lights?! errr.. ok maybe it was just because they were scared the average skyline would hose the Astra if they actually knew they were being pursued. yeah.. i got an auto.. autos seem to be better condition overall.. most of the "good" manuals seem to have already gone. will cost under $10k onroad with some semi slicks for the rears means i can spend $10k on the engine.. :evil: Manual rb20 boxes are cheap too if you want to go that route too later on. apparently there have been big storms & earthquakes in Japan this week.. hope my car is ok sitting wherever its sitting .. probably outside
