  1. i just got a 7250 actually.. the 'i' version i can see just has a slightly revised camera, and i think just better web stuff (which i'm not going to use too much anyhow). The v600.. nice! yeah, i probably wouldn't go out of my way to get another nokia, but this one was cheap.. and i didn't want to go on another plan as i like my $5 a month one w/ dirt cheap call rates at the moment (old work plan which i managed to still have ). So just wanted a fone "plan free" better than the old 8210 anyhow..
  2. people central in here .. i got my new phone today works nicely.. finally have upgraded to the world of colour and cameras and pointless features!
  3. lol.. he sounds the popular type.. i think he has always been p00r too.. Tom was telling me the other night he used to live off $2 coles pizzas and that was back then.. yeah.. can be a pain.. but oh well.. loungeroom am considering but maybe not for another 3 weeks or something. Then it would be only for a month or so. As it would be a little cozy for 2 months. :bs!: Its SLIME!! come on, you know it too
  4. i don't think i could ever drive a small car.. just woudln't feel secure.. always feels like its revving off its head and about to blow up with the way you have to drive it to get any form of power. I know there are some really fast ones out there, but still, not my thing
  5. hey ska.. man - november is *so far away* but i will wait still. i know.. see it all the time.. drive like maniacs, in and out going 130km/hr or sometimes even more. Probably think because they are a chick they can get away with it (well often they do I guess) and the cops will let them off. And its not like you are really driving a really sturdy car, with great brakes, good traction, proper balance, great crash protection and all the rest of it.
  6. yeah, its just the little things that can bother you. I think its just the main thing, its the small details that can really bother a customer when u get the car back and something is a little odd.. or not like it was before.
  7. haha.. nismogirl is disabled
  8. its called slime this new rep thing is stupid.. now trader ratings I can understand, that makes sense - but just having an arbitary system where people can just screw with your reputation points for fun is just stupid.
  9. Probably a few different ones like people are saying will do the trick.. I wouldn't bother with any of the VL/R31 pumps unless you really wanted the cheapest possible. Bosch 910 for $200 or so is probably fine for anything less than 250rwkw. Depends what your future goals are are.
  10. generally you just look at a shopping trolley with one of those small cars and it falls apart.. Secure driving Korean Style. and driving to work.. guess who the biggest maniacs are - chicks driving hatches with an inferiority complex.
  11. lol - did they combine to become a Falconia ? I got a Falconorche out the front of my place the other week.. that was quite rare.
  12. its understated.. i like being understated.. i thought it was cool meh..i'm going to hassle my successful traders to go give me some points.. so screw you hippy!
  13. its cool isn't it.. i like it, i like it a lot.
  14. do u have to be told its because you suck again Charly?
  15. its a great drive.. just be careful on a weekend as the johnies are out in force. I copped a 3 points last time for getting a little carried away during a weekend day-drive. um ...cruises up there?
  16. hmm.. he'll be back to crack heads i am sure i had to take mine back a 2nd time to get things sorted. 1st time wasn't too happy to be honest. 2nd time it came back great.
  17. i will grab the standard intercooler piping.. send me a PM
  18. adjusting any of the cams will probably cause it run poorly at idle, hence changing the cams with a stock ECU is probably not a great idea as the ignition timing is basically set for a stock cam combo afterall. That would make sense wouldn't it (?) Even just with an exhaust camgear added on my old car to change things a little, i noticed the idle was a lot poorer, and more "lumpier".. stock ECU w/ S-AFC. Was fine to drive, but idle = goats. Wasn't absolutely terrible but in the mornings had some trouble and revs would jump all over the place at idle. With a proper aftermarket could probably tune it out I would imagine. Never got to find that out.
  19. yes, better get the latest version.. i am reading off one dated 28th march i believe the basic loom is the same, and the plug sockets even the same.. but you will need to run a turbo ECU of some type at least, as I can't see why a n/a stocker would support turbo properly. Don't think it has the knock sensor which is a good idea for safety - so you would want to wire one in. If I am wrong somebody correct me.
  20. It really just comes down to people buying them.. if people are paying what is asked, then the prices will stay the same. In my opinion this is a little high for a 1989 GTR, when all other years will soon be available. If I was after one, I'd still be going for a newer one.. and in a few years when i do get around to buying one I'd still pay $30k for a good one. People will only pay what they are think they are worth. If you were selling one and got $30k for a 1989 GTR then I guess you'd be happy. I think people are just a little miffed with people trying to make a few bucks over them. If you are, then go import one yourself and take the risk. Or don't buy one at all - simple. Like you are saying relicr31.. its piece of mind to be able to look yourself. Paying somebody to physically inspect them and pick one out is worthwhile, even if it costs you a couple of $k more. Or paying a few $k more to inspect and be able to drive the car here. If its a crap car the only person who is going to lose out is going to be the seller, stuck with a car(s) that they can't sell. Or going through all that time and effort and only getting a tiny profit.
  21. hey there sprinter.. some n00bs.. cool.. what sort of cars do u drive? and don't answer "a skyline"
  22. well i think the point is that one can't ever be registered or complied.. as the VIN, etc will be on file somewhere. If somebody tries, it will just get knocked back. Not sure why it isn't destroyed actually? as I thought they had to be. Maybe a shifty is going on..
  23. nope.. i remember in VIC they didn't.. a couple of times I've saved myself some pain just having a look though in the car, before stepping on that accelerator. Then again, other times i haven't been so lucky lol
  24. i have one.. $40 +post ($10).. its in the forsale section a few pages back. PM me if interested.
  25. hell_bound: yes, thats the idea I am not sure that the rb20det ex.manifold will fit though. That was my other option.. complete RB25DE which i did find a few prices and would have been around $1200 complete. Heads can be carried though, whole engines are a bitch to cart around. sciby: your plan sounds a little similar to mine. I am going to *attempt* bolting everything together and putting it into an R32. Once its in, just get it working in basic form, iron on the kinks, etc and run a standard rb25det turbo or similar with very low boost. After that take it to a workshop and budget $6k or so and get them to build the bottom end and maybe do some work on the head, choose a big turbo, etc. At some point the gearbox also has to be converted to an RB25DET from auto.. yes its going to be a long process but hey, that is the fun Yes, that also makes no sense to in/out twice, but it does take much of the labour costs out of it getting in there first time myself. Its going to be the fiddly stuff that costs workshop hours to sort out, I'd rather attempt that myself, and call in the experts where necessary or something is too difficult.
