  1. So a cop is going to sick in the back of nowhere waiting for the one car that comes past every hour in case they are speeding? I'd be glad to see my tax dollars going towards that... huh? so you were walking your dog along the road?
  2. news limited is rubbish media
  3. Looking at the Fuga, I know they're both luxury things, but how is it different to say the Cima?? They look like very similar things to me, except the Fuga has a fug-ugly ass Then Nissan has something called "The President" as well.. lol In fact there are a few there: http://press.nissan-global.com/EN/PHOTOGRA...jp_sedan01.html
  4. I will insure your skyline for $100 a year.. but you need to have a bank vault, armed guard, and vicious guard dog for me to provide cover
  5. yeah, I've got the 9puk ceramic cushion doova on mine with a different flywheel that was machined before it went in.. it's as light to drive as my pulsar.. doesn't have hell bite though, but it doesn't quite slip either. cubes: call xtreme direct and ask for a supplier, you should save a couple of hundred less than horsepower in a box well I did for the distributor here anyhow.
  6. They can't make boxy looking cars forever.. styles change. Although I do like the older Skylines of course. The V36 at least goes back to a meaner look I think with how they've gone, which is a good thing. At 232kw and that amount of torque, I'd say they'd go quite well, even if they are a meant to be a 'taxi' in the 4 door version. Nissan would probably have to sell them for $60k-$80k if they sold here, which unfortunately probably wouldn't be too viable.
  7. Jax Quickfit in Ashmore weren't too bad when i got a pair of tyres from them a few months ago.
  8. Fulcrum down here replaced all mine with new items a year ago? Near Harbourtown.. bit of a hike..
  9. I thought shannons didn't insure your car unless you had a garage? A friend tried, and they knocking him back. Seems a little silly to me, seeing as I don't know how ANY car could get stolen from a locked garage without more effort than it was worth!
  10. Well.. looking at the base spec V36's 4-doors (non-turbo) that have just come out, they're tipping the scales at around 1580-1800kg.. So you'd expect the GTR to be somewhere in that range, depending on what they do for weight-reduction in terms of panels, etc. The VQ35HR is meant to have a 7500rpm red-line, and the GTR engine will be very close to that I'd say .. so I think that 6000 red-line is complete b/s.. it'll have 7500rpm minimum
  11. Anyhow, from mucking about on the site .. you can probably see it's got * Push button start * Black leather, bone leather, or a reddy-brown leather as options * Plastic/wood grain look inserts as an option * Option of different front bar or mud-guard things * Available in 5 speed manual or Auto Tiptronic * Reverse sensing camera(s) * Sat Nav * Has Bose Premium sound system * Available in 4WD or 2WD (2WD only for upper spec models) * Economy of 10L/100km * VQ35HR on upper specc'ed models, and also VQ25HR available * VQ35HR - 232kw with 358Nm of torque @ 4800rpm * VQ25HR - 165kw with 263Nm of torque @ 4800rpm * Gas tank under rear seat * 4WD comes with VQ25HR only. * Most spec'ed models weigh about 1600kg unladen If you want to read about what the HR brings over the current VQ35de engines, jump over to here: http://www.350z-tech.com/zwiki/VQ35HR "HR" possibly stands for "High Response and High Revolution" .. and they've upped the rev limit to 7500rpm
  12. This is probably not that new, but anyhow, I post anyhow. The 4 door was released a couple of weeks ago in Japan.. the 2 door is due 1st quarter of next year http://www2.nissan.co.jp/SKYLINE/V36/0611/index.html You can wade around the site, and look at the pretty pictures.. or maybe even read some of it if you know your Japanese. It's got an interesting side-profile, and personally I think it looks better than the droopy V35 4door model. Hopefully this'll bring the price of the V35's down in price to silly levels in 6 months .. and seeing as I can press print-screen as good as the next guy..
  13. the information in this thread is not sufficient for me to steal your cars? please provide more exact information..
  14. brake.. non-synthetic
  15. but you can't afford them? the price is reflected on what people are prepared to pay, and your target price is below what others are willing to pay..
  16. Looks like a bit of a car theft ring is operating on the goldcoast with the amount of imports stolen recently! Seems to have started about the time schoolies did, whether it's co-incidence or not.
  17. you might be waiting a while! well into 2008 at the earliest. I'm pretty disappointed to be honest.. if they'd have offered it late next year I may well have been tempted to lash out some cash on the ps3. Instead forza2 on 360 will keep me occupied well into then. I bought a PS1, and largely a PS2 just to play Gran turismo
  18. Bad news for PS3 fans.. GT HD has been canceled (a short demo with 1 track and 10 cars will be available in Japan only via download).. and we won't see Gran Turismo 5 until at least December 2007 in Japan, which means about mid-2008.. I guess I can just wait until then before buying the system, when the console is $350 or so. Until then I'm just going to save my cash.
  19. nengun doesn't have any in stock.. ebay ? you actually looked for an rb25 one? ZERO. The only ones that are around, are the ones that haven't updated their stock levels properly. When you ask 'no sorry, don't have that model anymore, have the others' "plenty around" my ass...
  20. hahaha.. you can see where they've just got the mallet out on the strut towers..
  21. ROFL.. can any of you actually afford brand new nissan sports cars to show that there is a demand, and to encourage them to make further models? I assume you all own 350z ? you're all buying the next GTR in cash?
  22. nice story.
  23. I've got 8 cams
  24. most of the **** that do this are little weedy f**ks, and you tend to find one within the vicinity when an alarm goes off.... at least get an alarm.. they'll be locals.. arundel and parkwood are full of scumbag shits.. in fact I could probably tell you about 2-3 houses that are always way too stocked to be legitimate business owners, et al in golf links estate.
